Week 13. I’ve maintained, keeping my weight loss at 14lbs. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I haven’t done anything different, kept well in within my syn allowance, continued to exercise (although I did miss one days run and my Pilates class was cancelled but can’t see that making a difference.) I know you’re not meant to weigh yourself at home, but after my group I always do and it’s always the same. So I did the same last night and it said I’d lost 2lbs so to be honest I’m really confused. I wanted a couple of lbs to play with as I went out for dinner last night and I’m out for dinner tomorrow with drinks for my best friend’s birthday and I really don’t want to go above my stone loss.

On to what I've been eating in the past week. Managed to try a couple of new recipes this week, beef & mushroom stroganoff and fish cakes, both were equally as yummy.  I didn’t get chance to make the brownies so I’ll try and give that a go this week. I’ve noticed I’ve eaten more carbs this week too , maybe that’s a factor as to why I’ve maintained, but I’ve never usually had a problem! Usual in the week breakfast is fruit with yogurt and lunches are my quiche. I tend to stick to cheese and bread at weekends and use my HexA on milk in hot drinks and HexB on Hifi bars during the week.  

Exercise. As I mentioned before my Pilates class was cancelled on Sunday, so I did a 4 mile run instead. Did my body sculpt class on Monday and did 5 miles over Tuesday and Thursday. Although I am about 50 mins down from last week, which makes sense not going to Pilates and missing a run. Maybe that really did contribute after all?

Aims for this week? I’d like to have a syn free week but as I’m out tomorrow that’s impossible. So from Sunday, 0 syns.
Any new dishes to try? Still need to try the low syn brownies.

  1. It's so annoying and frustrating when you feel like you've done enough to lose a decent bit of weight but the scales say different. I can go up or down a couple of pounds overnight so I try to focus on the bigger picture. You're doing really well - just look at how far you've come - you're a whole stone lighter than you were 3 months ago! xx
