Week 8 on Slimming World has been good, it's actually gone incredibly quick and I can't believe it's Friday already. I have lost another 1.5lbs taking my weight loss to 10lbs in total so far. I'm really pleased, it doesn't feel like that at all, it's a slow and steady race but i'm getting there. I went out on Saturday night, ate far too much and drank even more so I probably could have had a bigger loss but I had a great night and I've still managed to lose.
On to what I've been eating in the past week. It's been a bit of a boring week food wise in all honesty, I haven't tried anything new and I've stuck with favourites. I've been so busy at work, not getting home until late and I've continued to run and had an exercise class too! So food has been pretty standard. I've been enjoying stiry frys though, I've had two of those this week and I believe it's about 6 syns for the whole lot so between two it's a fairly low syn and decent evening meal. I'm planning on introducing more recipes to my blog which gives me a great excuse to try something new. My new camera should be arriving today and i'm dying to try it out so i'm hoping to get some recipe posts done this weekend. Still liking my Hi Fi bars as my daily sweet treat but I couldn't resist these little pots of perfriteroles from Tesco, they're 11.5 syns each but my god, they're dreamy! I've not really syned all week so I felt I deserved a treat last night after weigh in!
Favourite meal last week? Gotta be my stir frys!
Learnt anything new? I don't think it's new really, but the app is brilliant at stopping me synning, i could have killed for a McDonalds breakfast this morning but when I saw how many syns it was it instantly put me off.
Complete last weeks aims? Yeah, I've contained to run and I've even done an exercise class.
Aims for this week? Try two new dishes.
Any new dishes to try? There’s a raspberry dessert I saw in the magazine I’m going to give a go, I think it was a sort of tiramisu type thing. Sounded amazing anyway! - Still need to do this!
