Another New Cid item to add to the collection and this time it’s in the form of this beautiful marbled bronzer. The product features swirls of bronze, golds, pinks and chocolate browns which makes it perfect for all skin types. I actually really like the simplicity of the packaging, but I can see the white maybe getting a little dirty~ with it being a bronzer. The compact comes with a mirror in the lid and around the 9g of product which is a big bonus for me.

I’ve always been a little on the fence when it comes to marbled products, I think they look very pretty and create a nice design but I do often find they just merge in to one colour which doesn’t always look great. But having used this product a few times now, the overall colour is a really nice light brown and can be very easily built up for a more bronzed~ look. I am a little disappointed that the pink doesn’t come through as much as I would have liked, but you can still tell there is pink in the product which is good. There is a slight shimmer to the product, but it’s certainly not over the top.

This compact could again could be a little pricey for some but I think the fact you’re getting a lot of product makes it value for money. I think it’s worth investing in at least one high end blusher/bronzer because it’s something that can really make your make up, I think so anyway!

I do like this product and I will be using it every now and again, but I think I’d rather get the Shimmer palette next time as it’s probably more me. If you’re interested in seeing how the bronzer looks I’ll be wearing it for this weeks Fridays Face so check back then!

Lookbook | Chictopia
Top: Thrifted | Skirt: Vintage
Fur Stole: eBay
Bag: River Island 09
This was the outfit I planned on wearing to the Look beauty event a few weeks ago. I picked this top up whilst I was in Canada and I think it was around £3 which of course is an absolute bargain. The detailing is beautiful, each flower has a glitter centre which totally adds some sparkle, even if it does fall everywhere! The back is the same without the lining which makes it a little see through, but not enough to make me feel uncomfortable. The fur stole isn’t part of the top, I purchased that little number from eBay a few weeks ago and it is meant to tie up at the front but didn’t quite look right~ so I tied it at the back and I think it look so much better! I’ve teamed it all with my trusty old school skirt which I’ve showed here. The fur hat is my new favourite accessory; I have been after one for months. Luckily I managed to pick up the last one in Primark last week for the amazing price of £3.50. I know, so good!

So this week hasn’t been much better, but I’m not going to dwell on that and just try and focus on the positives like going home for Christmas in a few weeks, spending New Year with Matts side of the family, having two bowls of Lucky Charms for breakfast (don’t judge) and knowing that something amazing is just around the corner?!

For those interested in adverting on my blog net month, Wednesday is the last day to buy add space . Where has this year gone?!

Also before I go, Kudos to me for blogging every day for the past 10 days! I guess not having a job malarkey is actually ok! Oh and i hope my Fridays Face didn’t freak anyone out too much...

When ever people ask me where I get my inspiration from I never say magazines or fashion shows, I always say other bloggers. There’s a whole other fashion style in the blogging world and I’m finding myself more and more inspired by it. These are the outfits I’ve been loving/lusting since my last post and I’m finding myself wanting to hit the high street as we speak!

Blink and you'll miss it...

Remember last weeks Fridays Face? Well this is the eye shadow palette I used to create my look. It’s from a company called New Cid cosmetics which is a brand I’ve never tried before, so I was pretty excited to see what it was all about. This quad is called Choca Mocha (there are 6 quads in the collection). I know that’s a little pricey for a quad, but I have to say the quality is incredible and if you’re looking for an every day look palette I would say the price is justified. The colour pigment is amazing, I didn’t have to use a lot of product to get the look I wanted and they were very easy to blend unlike some eye shadows I’ve tried which can be very chalky. The colours are very true to the picture (unlike the one on the website I must say) and the wear is long lasting which of course is the main thing. I really do love this palette. The colours are very me and I think a lot of looks can be achieved with the different colours, whether it's from a dramatic smokey eye or just a light blended colour. I will certainly be adding this to my traveling make up bag!

I absolutely love Aztec/Navajo prints and I’m so pleased the shops are full of all different clothes and accessories right now. I just find it so fun and cute and there are so many variations of the design. I love how the patterns can be colourful or totally subdued and yet it still looks amazing. It can be a summer print like the crop tops we saw in the shops last season and chunky knits and scarves which we’re seeing a lot of now. I’ve shown my love for Aztec prints before and I even own a couple of clothing items with this print. I showed that here, here and more recently this weeks outfit post.

Do you like this trend? Is there anything in your wardrobe which has an Aztec look?

I first heard about MeMeMe products when I saw a post by Jennie last week and I thought it looked like such a sweet bundle. I went to check out their other products and I was really pleased to see there was a really varied collection. So when an email popped in my inbox the next day asking if I’d like to review a something I very happily agreed. I decided to go for the Coral makeup set as coral make up isn’t something I would usually buy. It also comes in pink, red. and bronze.

The first thing that attracts me to this product is the packaging. You can tell a lot of thought went in to the design and there’s a lot of little details which makes this product stand out (I’ll mention more on that later) the box is also a really great size for storage. It would be perfect for brushes, hair care products and jewellery.

This is my favourite product by far, It’s actually a very light colour which is a plus for me because it means I can bulild on the colour for a more intense look. It’s such a beautiful colour and it’s more matte than shimmer which is another plus for me, I like to be able to blend my blush and I find some shimmer ones it’s a little hard to do as they seem to go everywhere. But that could just be me?! The packaging is again lovely, the box contains 8gs of product, a blush brush and a mirror under the lid. I really love this blusher and I’m going to include in my every day make up box.

This lip gloss is a little thicker than I would like, I don’t like my lip glosses to be overly sticky and I feel this one is. But then to be honest I am quite picky when it comes to lip glosses so you could feel totally different. The product has a lot of shimmer in it but it’s certainly not over the top, in fact I would say it’s the perfect amount to add a little shine to your lips. The colour isn’t that intense which for me is a bonus because it just adds a little shine over the top. I’ve found this product to be quite long lasting, but that’s probably down to the thickness. The packaging is really cute, there’s actually a mirror on one side of the bottle and there are two little LED lights on the wand lid which is a really lovely touch. This lip gloss isn’t really me~ but i would recommend it to those lip gloss fans out there, I’m deffo more of a lipstick girl.

This nail polish was different to the one in the picture on site, but I’m pleasantly surprised by that. It’s a really lovely summer colour and it’s very true to the bottle. It was really quick drying too and can easily be layered up to get a more intense colour. I only applied one coat and I’m really pleased with the coverage. Bottle contains 12ml of product.

Overall I’m really impressed with this collection, it’s beautifully thought out and the packaging is just a massive seller for me. The products are suitable for all ages and all skin types and I think this item would make the ultimate stocking filler!

What do you think of MeMeMe products? Do you own anything from the collection?

Lookbook | Chictopia
Cardigan: eBay | Top: Zara
Warehouse | Shoes: Primark
Bracelet: GoGo Phillip*

I love this cardigan so much and it’s perfect for this season. It’s batwing which means there’s plenty of fabric to get nice and cosy and it’s perfect for keeping warm. I actually have it in a size 12, so you can tell how baggy it is! It’s from a pretty amazing eBay store too so check it out, I promise you won’t be disappointed. How amazing is my bracelet too? It’s quite heavy actually which I like in a bracelet, I like knowing I’m wearing something. The detailing is really pretty too.

Well this week has been probably one of the worst weeks ever. Firstly I didn’t make it to London last week thanks to public transport obviously trying to ruin my life. It started when two (full) buses go past me, rushing to book a taxi to take me to the train station (half an hour to go) and then ten mins before my train and about 2 mins away from the station, I realise in my previous ‘throw everything out your bag to find a taxi number fit’ that my purse is sitting nicely on the sofa. So that put an end to that one. £40 down the drain and once again missing a blogging event and feeling more and more out the loop~ the day wasn’t so bad in the end, I ended up going out for lunch and the cinema with Matt which was lovely as always. We saw in time which was actually amazing, totally recommend it.

It was Matts birthday on Friday and I’d like to say we spent it together but we didn’t, I did however make him the best cake ever and he loved it so that was good. It’s 100% Nutella and it equals to being my worst nightmare. He’s been out all weekend filming a short film for a competition and they had 2.8 days to film, edit and hand in. From what I can gather it was very stressful and they literally didn’t stop, he didn’t even come home last night. But alas, it’s all handed in and he’s now fast asleep. But because of him being out all weekend ive been so bored and it’s been pretty crap.

Then just to top it off, like literally the icing on the cake, I loose my job this morning. It wasn’t my fault, but of course it’s very annoying and upsetting. The main company I was writing for decided to part ways with my company and so there just wasn’t enough for me to do. I’ll still be doing the odd bits from home (I bloody hope) but it’s still shit and I feel pretty crap to be honest. But hey, that’s life! If anyone knows of any companies after a content writer in Leeds please give me a heads up. I’m really nice, honestly!

My Mum is coming up this week for some Christmas shopping, but I doubt I’ll be able to do much. I’m so looking forward to seeing her; I think it’s just what I need.

Hope you’ve had a better week than mine!
