2014 has been the year I've ventured out of my perfume rut and tried (and loved) 3 brand sparkly new ones. After using and re purchasing the same perfumes for years i decided to make more of an effort and add some others to my collection. Don't get me wrong, Paco Rabanne - Ultraviolet always has and always will be my going out perfume and Gucci 2 (although i have a horrible feeling this is no more) my day, but i now have some others to reach for depending on how i'm feeling that day.

I've never considered Estee Lauder for perfume, nor have i ever really considered celebrity endorsed ones either, deep down i just think they're not as good as designer ones. I know that makes me sound incredibly judgmental but after a questionable one from Towie (what did i expect really?!) i'd kinda given up on those sort of perfumes. However, this little beauty is fantastic, right up my street and i'm willing to put my paws up and admit i was wrong.

Modern Muse has a top note of vanilla and amber, two of my favourite scents and two intense sticks which are always going in my house. Other notes include white flowers, lily, jasmine, honey suckle, patchouli and wood. To me, this is absolute perfection. A fragrance made for me. It's just so fresh and lasts so long too. Although i'll use any excuse for a scent touch up!

I know i've said it before, but perfumes are of course very personal. What i love might be the worst thing ever invented to someone else. However, if this sounds pretty yummy and that girl in your life would like it too then you might end up being her favourite person ever if this is waiting under the Christmas tree next week!

  1. Ohh those scents sound amazing, so many of my favourites. Will definitely check it out. I've done a few Christmas related posts lately, check them out if you can :)

  2. I'd love to try this!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment XO
