MASCARA TIPS
Eye makeup is not as easy to apply, compared
to face make up which consists of several steps. It’s all about using the right
tools and applying each product perfectly. Rushing while applying makeup most
times doesn’t bring the desired and attractive effects, this happens especially
during application of mascara. Mascara
is one of the main parts of eye makeup, it enhances the natural beauty of your
eyes.
Things to consider before choosing
mascara:
Taking a proper look at your lashes
before heading to a makeup store is very important if you don’t want to end up
buying the wrong mascara. You need to take the following aspects of your lashes
into consideration-
- length?
- curved or straight?
- short or long?
CHOOSING THE RIGHT MASCARA
Each of these mascaras has its own
qualities, choose the one that perfects your lashes based on your needs.
- The lengthening mascara,
- The volumizing mascara,
- Waterproof mascara and
- Non-clumping mascara.
SELECT THE RIGHT COLOUR
Mascaras come in different colors.
Though, most people prefer using black, there are many other colors available
too. Mascaras are meant to be chosen according to the occasion, your eye color
and the overall makeup. A mixture of a brown and black mascara fits perfectly
if you prefer a striking look while, dark blue colored mascara can be applied
for a brown and blue colored eyes or to add that wow
effect to your party make up.
TIPS
Clumping can be avoided by rubbing the
mascara brush on a tissue before applying it. If the lashes get clumped, brush
an eyelash comb through the stuck lashes. Quite often mascara smears under the
eyes and on the foundation. To avoid this, apply powder underneath and over the
eyes.
Picking the best mascara that suits you
the best can change your whole look! I swear by 'They're Real' by Benefit.

These are some great tips. I know recently I picked up an eyelash curler that isn't as rounded as the normal ones and it changed my whole lash game! Great post! XO -Kim
