SLIMMING WORLD WEEK 9- FOOD, EXERCISE AND WEIGH IN

Week 9 on Slimming World has been my best week yet I think. I've just felt so good, I'm starting to notice a difference in myself too, I feel a lot happier, I'm sleeping better and I have a lot more energy which is just brilliant. So, this week I have lost another 2lbs taking my weight loss to 10.5lbs in total so far (I've been adding it up wrong and not taking in to account the week I gained, opps!) I didn't drink any alcohol this week either which I think has made a big difference to how I feel and the weight loss

On to what I've been eating in the past week. I know I said i'd try two new recipes this week, but i only managed one, raspberry tiramisu. I managed to take photos as I went and turned it in to a blog post though so I don't think that's that bad. Breakfasts during the week are my usual yogurt & fruit and weekend they're egg and/or bacon on toast. Lunches are vegetable quiche, I have a recipe post for this going up soon! I went out for dinner on Saturday and had a 3 course meal, I tried to keep it as SW friendly as could, I used my HexB as bread for my starter and swapped chips for jacket potato with my steak and pudding well, that would have been a lot of syns! I've tired to eat a bit more speed this week too and I had two meals which were just meat/fish and vege which again I think has helped so i'll keep with that this week coming.

Exercise. I thought it might be good to start mentioning exercise now as it's been a few weeks and I've stuck with it. I will be doing more exercise focused posts in the future but until then here's a little run down. I do exercises classes on Sunday and Morning, Pilates and Body Tone (basically legs, bums and tums) and then I have a couple of running routes which I do during the week too which are between 1 and 2 miles which to most people isn't a lot I know, but I'm working my way up slowly. I've already noticed such an improvement already, in just 3 weeks I've already knocked a whole minute off my mile run and I'm super impressed with that! Onwards and upwards!

Favourite meal last week? Chicken, tomato and vege pasta. I'd not had pasta for so long so I really enjoyed this after last nights run and weigh in.
Learnt anything new? Not drinking alcohol is great for weight loss! Who'd have thought it!
Complete last weeks aims? I tired one dish! So half completed.
Aims for this week?  I'm out tonight for cocktails so i'll be synning quite heavily, I'm going to try and make up for it and have a syn free (or very low syn) week.
Any new dishes to try? I'd really like to try Chicken Kiev, Beef & Red Wine Casserole and Baked Cannelloni.  They might not all be made this week but I'm hopeful for at least one.
Wanting to lose? After tonight any loss would be great so let's go for 1lbs!
Time active? 1h50mins

Week One -3lbs
Week Two -3lbs
Week Three -1.5bs
Week Four -0.5lbs

Total loss: 10.5lbs

  4. Well done on your weight loss so far. Posts like this really inspire and motivate me. I've put on over a stone in the last year and have slowly creeped up a dress size. I really need to find the motivation and stamina to get it shifted.
