PRODUCT REVIEW: THE BALM COSMETICS

theBalm is an American cosmetics brand which has quite possibly the best packing that's ever hit the beauty world! Just.look.at.it. Amazing! Having only been around for 10 years, it's still relativity new but has already made an incredibly positive mark. You might not have had chance to try anything yet as these beauties have only been available across the pond but all that's changed as you can now get your paws on them on FeeluniqueASOS, and Superdrug, wonderful news i'm sure you'll agree. (Psssst, Superdrug have 3 for 2 on cosmetic at the mo!)

So, on to the products. Schwing Eyeliner is the best kind of eyeliner for me personally, I like a small tip which is defined and this is certainly that. It gets right to my lash line and the dark true black stays in place all day long. ShadyLady Palette Vol. 2 is right up my street with just the right amount of dark tones with some highlighting thrown in. They're incredibly soft and creamy and super easy to blend. You can go for an intense smokey eye or a soft one which is what i went for by teaming Insane Jane (top right) and Devilish Danielle (bottom right) together. With a mixture of matte and shimmery colours, you can create any look and it's the perfect size for travelling.

FratBoy Shadow & Blush is a product i have heard a lot about, I believe Gemma is a massive fan and has featured it a lot in her videos. With this in mind, i knew this would be an awesome product to have in my collection. This blush is very pigmented, like seriously a lot goes far and it's very rich in colour giving me perfectly pinched pink cheeks. It's a very natural looking colour so it'll be perfect for those who don't like to slap on a lot of make up. It looks lovely with Mary Lou Manizer Luminizer and again a little goes a long way. Hot Mama Shadow & Blush is more muted with regards to colour and it's a bit deeper on the pink side with a hint of golden shimmer so this would be great if you want a bit of both.

So far i'm pretty impressed with theBalm, i can totally understand why the brand is as popular as it is and is well worth the pennies. I'm especially impressed with the eye shadow palette and I've been reaching it for it every day for the past 3 weeks! I'm really excited to try some more products and i'm now lusting after Bahama Mama, Pretty Smart Gloss and How About Them Apples, maybe Santa will read this!

Have you tired theBalm? Which products do you recommend?
