I have a slight hate towards anything glitter, the fact it gets everywhere drives me a little bit mad (even if it is pretty to look at) so when i opened this palette i was in two minds about it. It does look amazing, the colours are perfect for me but the visible glitter specs did put me off and it was a long time before i actually tried the palette out. But i'm glad i did because i was pleasantly surprised to see how non- glitter the glitter shades actually are. Of course they give a slight hint of glitter but it's certainly not enough for it to fall down your face and they're in no way glittery like some pigments so i was pretty pleased. Having said that, if you're after this palette for the fact it's glittery i wouldn't bother. It would take a lot of build up to gain any kind of look you see in the pans, but for a slight hint i think it's perfect actually. The other shimmer shades are lovely too, very workable together with the other shimmer shades, they do take a bit of work with the glitter shades but it's no biggie. Overall i do really like this palette, i can't say i'm going to use it everyday but it's perfect for nights out and doesn't take up much room in your make up bag which is always a bonus!

Have you tried this palette? What do you think?

  17. I've had this palette for a while now and kind of have a love hate relationship with it. I never use it day to day, only for nights out when I want a bit of glitter :) xx

  24. I agree, I hate when you have glitter sitting on your cheeks from your eyeshadow, puts me off, but when I put a good primer down it doesn't seem to happen as much! These colours look gorgeous for a night out, great review
