PRODUCT REVIEW - TECHNIC HIGHLIGHTS (BENEFIT DUPE)

Technic High Lights - £2.49

Unless you've been living under a rock I'm sure you'll already be aware of Benefit High Beam. You've probably heard about it's highlighting goodness and also it's price tag, £18.50. Well this little bottle is the most amazing dupe for it and at a fraction of the price, it's £2.49 to be precise. A little better on the purse strings I'm sure you'll agree.

I first tried high beam last year when i got a sample but never really bothered with it until i recently sorted out my make up collection and i was introduced to it's greatness. Unfortunately, the little sample has now run out and i was desperate to continue to use it, but the price tag was a massive no no for me. So after doing some research i came across this dupe from Technic. I've been using this exact one for over a month now, i also featured it in am eBay post for those who wanted to try it too and it's totally changed my make up routine. I use it under my eyebrows and on my cheeks, which i think you can really notice in the above picture. It's a fab little product and it does the exact same thing as high beam which makes it the best dupe around and i can't imagine not having it in collection.

Have you ever tried high lights? What do you think?

  2. Amazing! I've never been able to afford High Beam and I was so sad when my little Glamour sample ran out. Buying this now!

  3. I've never tried either, but I think I'll buy this dupe! I don't use blusher as I have quite rosy cheeks anyway, but I like the thought of wearing something on my cheeks so this might do the trick x

  5. I found this little beauty 5 months ago, and I've been using it over High Beam ever since - I've now got 3 of them so I'm well stocked up for highlighters.

  8. Thank you so much for sharing this! I have mini versions of High Beam and Moon Beam which I got in a gift set, and I use them all the time when I go out. But like you I would not fork out nearly £20 for a full sized one so I'll definitely be snapping this up when mine run out!

  16. Looks fab on you Victoria! You've convinced me to get some.

I've not really tried high lights before, it's the type of thing I forgot about. I have however experimented with a bit of white eye shadow though. :)

  28. I really like the look of this. I recently realised that you're only suppose to keep high beam 6 months after opening. I never knew what the little tub symbol and number meant on the back of products until a few months ago, i now check all the time! I think the dupe suits my budget much more!!! x
