PRODUCT REVIEW - BOUX AVENUE + GIVEAWAY!

Boux Avenue pride themselves on being able to cater for everyone, and that they do. The range of sizes they have is amazing, so whether you're a 30A, 40H, or one in between, Boux Ave have it covered. The sizes come in a brilliant selection of styles, finishes and colours. It's not just lingerie you can purchase, they also have a lovely range of nightwear, swimwear, beauty gifts and a bridal section. Boux Avenue is celebrating their first birthday this week, you can them find online and at 9 stores across the country!

Every now and again an email will appear in my inbox from a lingerie company asking if i would like to feature their brand. I usually politely decline and say it's a not something I'd like to mention on my blog (you know, it's kinda personal) but when a very friendly email popped in my inbox at the start of last month from Boux Avenue i became very interested. Being quite large chested (i have been since my early teens), i find it incredibly difficult to find bras that fit and are comfortable. I've gone through my fair share of expensive/cheap ill fitted bras that have left marks, bruises and back pain. Despite going to numerous places to get measured I've just never been able to find the perfect~ bra. I know I'm not alone in this, which is the very reason i decided to go ahead and do this post.

MY EXPERIENCE
I was very kindly gifted two items from the website which i picked myself. I decided to go for the Sienna full support balconette bra & the Dana full support lace balconette bra as like i said before, finding bras that fit is a nightmare. The last bra i bought was from La Senza which was a 36G, it didn't fit. But i decided to get the same size anyway because i know the size is different from shop to shop and as these are ''support'' bras, i thought i wouldn't have a problem. The package arrived a couple of days later and i was blown away by the presentation. I'm an absolute sucker for a nicely packaged parcel and Boux Ave really outdid themselves. The bras came beautifully wrapped in a branded box, floral tissue paper and sealed with their own sticker. The Bras we're neatly in place in the box with scented petals to give it a really personal touch. It's the most thoughtful parcel I've ever received and something like that can really encourage your opinions on an item.

After receiving these bras i made a promise to myself to wear them everyday, even if they hurt, didn't fit or caused whatever problems because i wanted to give them a honest review. A month later I'm still wearing these bras, not for the review. But because ladies, I've found it, I've found the perfect bra! The Sienna is the one, the one I've been waiting years to find. I don't have a gap in the middle, i don't have wires digging in to me and i can wear my clothes over the top without my chest starting to fall out (you know what i mean, we've all been there!) Even though the Dana is the same size, i find it a lot tighter to the point where i can't wear it for too long because it hurts, but the support i get from it is amazing it makes it worth it. I can't believe I've found finally found it and all for £26! I honestly can't recommend Boux Avenue enough. Their service & quality is outstanding and I've even asked for a voucher from my Mum for my birthday. Thank you for Boux Ave for helping me find my perfect bra!

So now on to the exciting bit! Just to prove everything I've said about Boux Ave being fabulous, they've only gone and given me a £50 voucher for one of you to win! How lovely is that? All you have to do is comment on this post with a link to what you would spend your voucher on and I'll pick a winner on Friday!

  2. So glad you've finally found something that fits :) I always have trouble too as I am slim but have a big chest and 32E isn't a common bra size! So many shops don't sell it, I usually have to order online and just hope it fits!

The packaging here really does look amazing. I'd go for a balconette bra probably something like the Georgie Ditsy Stripe Bra- so cute!

  3. I found myself nodding to everything you just wrote haha.

I'm like you and think finding a bra is ridiculous if you have boobs bigger than a 34D that actually look nice along with fitting.

If I won I would get this gorgeous bra http://www.bouxavenue.com/camilla-satin-and-tulle-balconette-bra-peach/100024-50pc as I only really own black and white bras, because I find 'pretty' ones never come in my size.

  4. Well being larger of chest but still loving girlie underwear (a rarity to find) I'd pick this one - so pretty and lacy http://www.bouxavenue.com/lyla-satin-balconette-bra-purple-mix/100428-30lx

And of course the matching undies :)

  5. It's so nice to see someone talking positively about bra experiences. I've never really considered ordering from online places and I'm a little at a loss for even answering why I've not. Bra shopping leaves me (very literally) in tears - I've found that some high street shops don't cater for anything below a 32b and I've been given sarcastic answers when I've asked if they stock lower sizes. I've found myself getting pointed towards childish monkey printed bras and have often walked out of shops in tears because the frustration got on top of me. Ridiculous - hence my an online experience should be much more comfortable! I'm definitely going to look in to that more, so thank you for posting about this.

If I had the voucher I reckon I'd opt for something like this:
    http://www.bouxavenue.com/chloe-lace-balconette-bra-black/100193-01bl
I prefer sticking to classic styles and this is just lovely.

Thank you for the opp, Victoria. :)

I always struggle to find the right bra, especially as my weight has fluctuated over 35 pounds over the past two years - I'm in different sizes all of the time and none of them fit properly!

I used to wear pretty stuff all the time and then my shape changed, I became an IMPOSSIBLE to find size and I now have just four bras that fit me properly (2 black, a nude and a white one). I would treat myself to the Chloe Balconette in pretty colours.

I think there's only about 4 high street shops I can buy my size from and it gets frustrating seeing so many gorgeous, colourful bras but the only ones in my size are dull and really overpriced. It's so nice to find a range which goes from an A right through the cup sizes, DD+ ranges can be so frumpy and I hate having to shop from a different range!

  90. I would get this bikini top and bottom set, because I am like you a bigger cup, I find getting bikini's that fit is almost impossible. Most places just do traditional women's clothing sizes, so I don't fit in my usual 12, sometimes not even in an 18! Because they offer cup sizes, and judging from your experience I know they will support, I can finally get a gorgeous STRAPLESS bikini that I've always wanted, and I won't be left self conscious!

Thats great you've found a bra thats perfect for you which is always hard for someone. I'm a 34C and my favourite shop was la senza but most of the time their bras had way too much padding for my liking.

  131. I am absolutely grateful for boux avenue. i had problems with finding the right bra, either the size was never right or the fit was not right or the cut was absolutely wrong, and half of the time my boobs were falling out of my chest. i went into a mall in sheffield to find a good bra with my cousin and we accidentally stumbled into boux avenue. i was really doubtful i would find anything, but we tried anyways. the sales assistant set out to help me and we went through thousands of bras until she handed me the full support balconette bra. it was like magic!!! finally i had found something that gave me good coverage and support, and had the perfect cut. i dint have to worry about my boobs looking too splattered across my chest, or too pumped up in my outfits, it was perfect, and being a 32FF, i never say that about bras. And the best part is, they are really pretty and i dont have to worry about getting them in grandma colors and patterns. i can still be comfy, yet sexy!
    xoxo.
