WHAT I WORE & GIVEAWAY!

Lookbook | Chictopia
Jacket/Shoes/Ring: Primark
Dress:
Holly Willoughby for Very*
Clutch Bag: Dorothy Perkins

I was contacted last week about featuring a dress from the Holly Willoughby collection she has at Very and if I'd like to run a little Valentines give away for you guys on here. As I love all my readers I thought this was a perfect way to share the love! So cheesy, but so true.I choose this dress after seeing a selection of Hollys favourites and even though this dress wouldn't be something I would usually pick, I thought I'd go for it and once again try something out of my comfort zone. The dress is so lovely in person, it's a beautiful jersey fabric so it clings to you but not in the horrible way certain items can do. It's very fitting because of the lining it has down the side but it's certainly not like a bodycon dress! I feel very comfortable and I think it's very flattering to my curves. I'm really pleased I had the chance to wear something like this because it's really changed my opinion on these types of dresses and if I was going out for Valentines day I would certainly wear this little number!

I often get asked what I do to make my hair curly and i always answer with ''I'm just really lucky, all I do is tie it in a bun'' but I can't take the credit for the curls in today's outfit pics as that's down to the AMAZING Amplify Jumbo Weaver from Enrapture. I honestly can't get over how good it is and I absolutely love the results! I think I'm going to film a review/demonstration video on it so if you'd like to see that please let me know and I'll film it this week!

I'm going home this weekend and which should be really lovely, I haven't been home by myself since the Summer so I'm looking forward to some quality time with my parents and Ken the kitten, who probably isn't much of kitten any more! My Dad cooks the best things too so I'm hopefully going to pick up some new recipes to try for when I'm back!

Hope you all have a lovely week! How is it the middle of February already?!

For Valentines I can't say I'm doing anything "romantic" but I'm going to make macarons for my loved ones. I'm looking forward to waking up early and all the preparation involved. :) x

  8. My boyfriend's ill right now so i'll be spending Valentine's taking care of him! We were planning on having a fajita night so that's postponed now until he gets better. If i had all the money in the world, i would still probably have a fajita night with him in front of a film because that's what we enjoy! A cosy comfy night in :)

  17. Love the dress it's gorgeous!

I would love to go on a romantic trip to the Maldives with the boy so we can just relax and pamper ourselves not to mention how gorgeous the scenary is! I think because of how busy life is, in London, i definitely need an island getaway with no form of contact from anyone a part from laying in bed and soaking in the sun with the boy =].

Ofcourse i can't afford to do that right now but i can dream!

  18. Love this dress, it would be great for a valentines day date!

One of the best valentines I had was someone took me to an old church which was projecting Breakfast at Tiffanys and Casablanca, and other old romantic films. I doubt I could come up with anything interesting myself though!

  19. That dress is georgeous. I'm always abit scared of jersey dresses as they can tend to cling in all the wrong places so it's nice to see one thats flattering.
Me and my boyfriend have a long distance relationship which means that I won't be seeing him on Valentines day. It does however also mean that I can buy him lots of goodies in the sale after Valentines day and give them to him when I next see him! He won't know and I will save myself some money to spend on pretty things. Win all round I thinlQ

I have zero plans for Valentines Day as my boyfriend lives in Leeds and I'm in Dundee, but if money were no object I'd fly us both over to Venice where we spent last Valentines day, except this time I wouldn't have a really horrible stomach bug, we wouldn't get lost in the fog and we'd stay in a hotel room that didn't require sharing a bathroom with the whole floor! (I made it sound like a horrible trip, but it was really nice on the whole haha oh dear) xx

    I am doing nothing but staying in bed on Valentine's Day. If money was no object, I would go for a nice picnic in a park and as the weather isn't usually nice in February, it would have to be an indoor picnic. I'd do this even if money was an object, I think it would be the perfect way to spend the day with the one you love as it is so sweet and personal :}

  55. You look AH-MAZING, this dress looks gorgeous on you!

I'd love to win some nails in polish or Thorntons chocolates! My Valentines Day will consist of serving coffee in a hideously unattractive olive green t-shirt and burgandy apron to the demand of my boss who hasn't got a clue whats going on. Meanwhile, my boyfriend is enjoying the sun in Florida - sucks to be me! If I had unlimited money, I'd jump on a plane and surprise him on Valentines Day - oh so soppy ;-).

I can't believe it is the middle of February either, my boyfriends birthday is 1st March and I'm already stressing over what to buy him! xx

  56. There is no man in my life so for Valentine's Day I will be hitting the town with all my single friends. Who needs a frickin' ball and chain?? I am still young, and am not going to pine over the fact I don't have a boyfriend.
If money was no object I would throw a huge party for single ladies only which would include champagne, chocolate fountains and swag bags full of beauty goodies. We would have an amazing DJ and just celebrate the fact we are all young and free to do pretty much whatever we want!

P.s. you look amazing in the Very dress and I love your hair. Please share your secrets! And please pick me! :)
