I'M LOVING... BARRY M DAZZLE DUST

Dazzle Dust #44 - £ 4.50

I'm a big fan of Barry M and it was the first make up brand I went really crazy for, burt was a good few years ago and my dazzle dusts have kind of taken a back seat. I own about 20 of them, and I used to wear them literally all the time. After getting some new storage at the weekend i've been sorting out all my make up and I found them all in a little container and to be honest I had forgotten I had them,so i thought I would make more of an effort to use them as some of them have never been used. I'm really loving warm shades at the moment, ever since I got my Mua – Heaven & Earth palette so I went straight to the bronze/gold shade which is the one above. It's a really rich shade which can be built upon depending what look you're going for (i mix it with white and black) and of course in true dust form it's very shimmery. I find these eye shadows are applied best with a finger as you have more control over it and it doesn't fall all over your face. I like to apply these eye shadows before my face make up just for that very reason. I'm so happy i found these again and i'm really looking forward to trying out some new looks with my dazzle dusts!

Do you like Barry M? Which is your favourite dazzle dust shade?

  3. Aww that shade looks lovely, I have a similar one but it looks terrible on me...I love the different ranges of black mixed with colours (like 'Petrol') means I can have some fun bringing colour into the smokey eye look!

  17. I've been using my bronze one (possibly the same one as yours?) on nights out to add a bit of shimmer to my upper lash line as I'm poop at black liner! I really like using the dazzle dusts as eyeliner :)

  21. Ooh that shade is gorgeous! All the Dazzle Dusts I had back in the day were ridiculous colours like neon pink and orange haha. Had to dig some out for a fancy dress party a couple of months ago, I'd forgotten how good they were - might have to invest in a few new, more wearable shades!

  25. I do like Barry M, but I've got a couple of the dazzle dusts and find them a bit frustrating. I find they go everywhere when I try to apply them, and then gradually wear off during the day. I've got an electric blue shade that I bought when I first started getting pocket money and only really used it for photoshoots :/ http://simplesophiecn.blogspot.com/ xo
