Before i tell you about these brushes, i just want to say, completely honestly, i know absolutely nothing about makeup/brushes. So therefore I'm not going to big something up if it doesn't help me. Sure i can tell the difference between a foundation brush and a blusher, and i know the difference between an concealer and an eyeshadow, but anything more detailed than that like which brush does shading, and which is a liner i have zero knowledge. I have been after some make up brushes since way before Christmas, but because i have no idea what I'm doing i didn't really know where to start. The reason i wanted to get some brushes and improve my make up collection is something to do with this blog. Every other day i take a photo of myself, and i would like to get a little bit more advantageous with my make up, but be able to do it correctly. For the past week I've watched nothing but Make up tutorials and brush reviews, and slowly I'm starting to understand. So when the lovely people at Sigma sent me this brush set i jumped at the chance! I knew they must be good because Lily always mentions them! I finally thought i could make a start and build my make up knowledge. I've had them since Saturday, and so far i can't praise them enough, i think they're fabulous and from someone who's just starting like me, i would seriously go ahead and buy some. I already feel so much more confident with my make up, and i hope you can tell that in this picture. I've shown you a front on view to get a better look, i don't usually take my pictures like this, so i hope you appreciate it! ;) I've used nothing but these brushes...

Click here to have a look at the selection they have on their website.
I'd love to know what you think of these brushes, and if you'll get some for yourself?

  3. I love love Sigma brushes! I have been using the Face & Eyes kit for over a year now, and a couple of months ago I bought the F80 brush. They are all of great quality and I won't change them with anything else anytime soon.

  11. Jeez I wish I could do eye makeup like that! No matter how many tutorials I watch I'm just totally cackhanded!
I need some decent brushes for wedding makeup- no point buying decent makeup then using my grubby mitts to apply is there? I'm definitely keen for a set of these- so much cheaper then MAC and great results!

  13. Am super jealous, they look amazing, i'm saving up to buy some at the moment, few more shifts at work first though! Really like your eye make up in the photo too, would love to be able to do something like that but i'm completely useless when it comes to make up!

  14. Haha I'm the same, I hardly know anything! It was only after stumbling upon some makeup youtubers recently I actually realised I could do alot more with my makeup and that it's worth splashing out a bit on good products. I like spending money on clothes, but makeup doesn't really interest me!

I may look into buying some of these brushes, I'm using the cheapest brushes I could find at boots the moment :/

  18. What a lovely set of brushes. A bit expensive though. And I wonder from what place they ship. I am not really eager to pay duties if it's not from EU. But well, I guess there is no other option :)
    Great pic, btw!
