A somewhat different look from my usual today, no i didn't wake up this morning and think i was in the 1950s, this look is actually for a competion run by Indola. I was given a selection of looks to try and recreate and 50s style was the one i choose, i planned it more around my amazing new dress more than anything but i think they've turned out ok?! If you want to see my outfit a little bigger just click the top pic. Their hair products are amazing, like i couldn't believe how good they were so I'll be doing a post about that in the next week, they smell incredible too which is always a bonus with hair products. I do love a reason to do my hair like this, i've always loved victory rolls and i've worn it like this a few times before. I'm starting to think i have issues with being in this era... first it was 1970s now it's the 1950s!
Got quite a busy week this week, my best friend from back home is coming to stay tomorrow night which I'm super excited for. I'm so looking forward to going out and having some drinks, being good and saving money is just so boring sometimes! We're also going to go to York for the day too, she's never been before and it's one of my favourite cities so any excuse to go back is fine by me. I'm going to be in London this weekend celebrating my cousins 30th birthday, it'll be the first time I'll be meeting her brand new baby daughter too and this makes me so excited! There's something planned for Sunday as a 'well done' for finishing uni but i have no idea what that is, I'm looking forward to it none the less!
Speaking of my cus, she's after a really good Mulberry Alexa replica. Can any of you fashionistas hook me up?! I have found this little number, which i don't think is so bad, but if you could give me a heads up it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!
I have some new exciting things coming to the shop soon (having a bit of a nightmare at the mo) so grab the last of the jewellery I'll be selling while you can. The 50% discount ('MUSTGO') will be in place until it's all gone.
I'm so loving the fact that the sun is shining today, i was starting to believe we had already hit Autumn with all this rain. I do have s feeling it'll be retuning in a blink of an eye though! Summer, what summer?!
WOW, This is actually my favourite look of yours ever! It screams RETRO! I love this! You should do that hairstyle more often as well! And I think Ebay will be full of Mulberry Alexa replica's, if on a low budget she could try Primark because theirs are only £4 now! But as for quality I'm not very sure, lol!

That dress is incredible!!
ReplyDeleteThat ebay Alex looks great. I got my Neely knock-off from http://www.zeal-replica.com. It was a bit pricey (about AUD$120 from memory) but still a fraction of the cost of a real one and it's leather. The website admittedly looks a bit dodgy but the service was really good. I ordered mine about 2 weeks before Christmas and it arrived (in Brisbane, Australia)the week after Christmas.
The dress is fabulous! I'm so fascinated by dresses at the moment, didn't think of looking at Motel Rocks... oooh it's like candy - loving it!
ReplyDeleteTalking of replica Alexa's, in a recent post I did I found a great couple of listings on eBay where I found some in all different colours... I really REALLY want a powder blue and cream one! It may be of use to you click http://www.mozzypop.com/2011/07/where-i-found-pick-satchel.html
Looking great tho hun!

ReplyDeleteTry smaller, non high street shops for replica bags. There's quite a few by mine that are selling Alexa replicas, it's called Paparazzi, but I don't know if it's just a Liverpool shop?
xx

ReplyDeleteSuch a great colour dress!
It reminds me of babershops and candy canes (in a good way!)
