So in less than 48 hours, me and my boyfriend move in to 1, Railway Apartments. 6 months i've waited for that day, all the stresses living with 4 other girls has well and truly exhausted me and im feeling so happy to move somewhere different and with my love.
Today is day two of packing, and to be honest, im not far away from finishing. Half the boxes are downstairs, others i've shoved into corners.
I have come to the conclusion i have far too many clothes, so i will be ebaying it up in the next few weeks.
This might be the last post for a while, depending on when we get the Internet set up.
I will post pictures of my new place when i can.
I'll be sad to leave this house, but i'll be saying a big FUCK YOU to the people i shared it with.
So this weekend was great, apart from Friday night i started getting amazingly painful tooth ache, my neck and cheek swelled up and it was/is difficult to talk, it didn't get any better, and therefore i had to miss going to Sheffield today with Matt and get myself to an emergancy dentist.
So i've been given antibioitics, told not to eat hot food, have ice on my neck to bring the swelling down, and eat a lot of ice cream (her words, not mine!
Right now im in a pretty miserable mood, i also don't know if i can get to uni on Thursday to get feedback & results, which is pretty crap.
I want my boy, and a cup of tea. But right now, i can't have either. BOO!
Took the rents to myself and Matts favourite Indian resturant, Manchester with Mum, back home, drinks for the England game, BBQ in the rain, hours and hours playing Spyro The Dragon on my PS2, dinner with an old friend and meeting her 4 week old baby Travis, drinks in the sun with a friend who's going travelling for 18 months and getting a stupid sun line where my cardi was on my arm (NOOO!) drinks and cinema to see SATC 2 with my bests, which made the film much more funnier, being offered an amazingly paid well 4 day job at an events company for next month, cooking dinner for my dad, making Fathers day cards with mum for her to sell, reading an amazing book, watched 3 episodes of Pineapple Dance Stuidos with the rents, countless baths and cups of tea and generally being so happy to be out of that house back in Leeds.
Matts coming down this weekend, Dads picking him up from the station on his way home from work.
So this weekend will be all about good company, good food and good drink.
And i couldn't be more excited!
Hella excited, hella nervous.
Run throughs today were not so great.
I have 3 models, one cancelled, my back up cancelled and one is ill and won't be in until tomorrow, luickly one was in and just before my run through i found another model, so im ok to go, she has a slight problem walking in my dress, due to the design but im hoping we can sort that out tomorrow and come up with an easier way.
Going in stupidly early tomorrow, and im hoping everyone remembers what they're doing and when and then everything will be fabulous!
I cannot believe we've been left till the day before to sort it out.
Roll on last show at 7pm tomorrow!
So it's been a few days since i posted, a really fun few days too!
Thursday i went into Matts uni to help film his 1 min short film for last project. All in all there was 6 of us there and it was such a laugh. The filming was amazing, he's doing the editng now, but i'll post when it's all done.
We all went out for food and drinks after, another drunken evening.
Yesterday i spent all day in the park, it was lush! I met Caoimhe and we had a picnic and read our books. I've major caught the sun!
Today im chilling at Matts whilst he's in uni. We had a massive down pour last night for ages and the ground is still wet so there's no point going to the park, so sleeping is a good idea until he gets home.
I'm going to have the house to myself again from Monday for a few days. Bqqs and cocktails are on the list!
Enjoy your weekend!
So i've spent all afternoon trying to come up with some music, i think im getting there.
I also brought train tickets from Leeds to London for £18.80 for early July, im going down to see family as it's my aunty's birthday and watch the new Twilight film with my cousin who are 27 and 33. See! It's amazing for all ages! ha. Im really looking forward to it. We're doing a walk in memory of my Nan too, they do it every year and im excited to be part of it.
Last night mine and Matts friend Caoimhe came over and we decided to make vodka jelly! We'd already had a few drinks by midnight and it still hadn't set, so the plan is to have it tonight and watch a movie.
Oh and i finished my Jodi Picoult book last night, House Rules. It was so interesting, it was about a boy with asperger's syndrome. So it's something i'd deff recommend.
Myself and Matt move in to our new place a month today, finally.
