A few years ago you’d never catch me in anything other than dresses or skirts, this goes back to my bigger days when it was just easier to stick on a dress and a pair of tights than have the struggle of trying on trousers/jeans to find a pair that actually fitted me or Heaven forbid looked good. But fast forward a couple of years and a nice weight loss later, jeans are my best friend and I have more pairs than I care to imagine. Earlier on in the month George at Asda challenged me to have a weekend in denim, a day and night outfit wearing jeans from their denim collection. I didn’t even think twice, I knew I’d love this and set about finding the perfect outfits.
This is my day outfit and I think it’s one of my favourites
from this year; I wanted to pick some pieces which together were quite autumnal
but then separately I could wear them throughout the year individually. I did originally
pick a pair of jeans in this colour but they sold out in my size so I went with
the jegging version instead. I probably should have got a smaller size in these
as they do have some give in them but they were still really comfy to wear and
I’ve worn them for work a couple of times since. I love this stag shirt too, I
think it’s sold out a couple of times but there is currently some stock
available. But I can see it going again so get one whilst you can! Finally from
George I picked this faux fur Gilet to tie it all together, it’s so cosy and warm.
Even if I do feel a bit yeti like! Luckily I had a plum coloured hat from Primark knocking about which was a great match with the jeggings!
So here it is, 24 for hours in denim! The next 24 will be up
on my blog next Monday and it features a very sparkly little number!

I love the stag print shirt, it looks more like something you'd see in Zara and it goes perfectly with the jeggings too :)
