A DAY TRIP TO LONDON

Going to London is nothing new, i go quite a few times a year to see friends and attend events for my blog but it's rare i get to take time out to be a 'propa' tourist. I was gifted some tickets for Viva Forever and i thought it would be really nice to go with Mumma Price and spend the day together. I had planned to take my camera and get happy snappy but of course i left my memory card in my laptop, opps. After a having a panic about tickets (my fault entirely after leaving my bank card in my Dads car) we hopped on a train at our local station and an hour and half later we were at Kings Cross station where i finally got to see Platform 9 3/4. My Mum and Dad are originally from London but moved to Leicestershire just before i was born so it was really nice to see where my Mum used to work when she was my age (which was literally right next to Piccadilly Theatre) and where she used to go for her lunch  in a cafe just a round the corner. We headed to Carnaby street as i wanted to pay a visit to Monki (left with nothing!) and spent money we didn't have in Liberty. Dinner was at Byron burger (thanks Gemma!) and then a quick drink before the show itself which by the way was so cheesy it was sometimes embarrassing but fantastic none the less! Home at 1.30am and then back to work the next day. It was such a lovely day and it's made me even more (if that's possible) excited for New York in 4 weeks! 

MAC NOCTURNELLE & HUMID

Nocturnelle / Humid - £10 (swatches)
A few weeks ago i mentioned filling up my 15 pan from Mac and i'm pleased to add two new editions to my collection, Nocturnelle & Humid. Having brown eyes i wanted to get two shades that i wouldn't usually go for but would compliment my colour, so after some research i thought these two would be best to start with. Nocturnelle is a frosted deep purple with a pink tint and can be easily built up for a more intense colour and Humid is a frost finish forest green which is medium dark with subtle gold running through. So far i really like these two colours, they're both decent pigment and blend well. Apart from Nocturnelle as that can take a bit more work but it's certainly not an issue. 
I'm hoping to fill the remaining spaces of my pallete whilst out in New York next month. So which colours should i next add to my collection?

Long time no what i wore, but i'm finally back! I fell in love with this dress on Warehouse when it first came online but but with it not being available in local stores and not wanting to pay the postage i thought it was never going to come in to my life. But here it is, and i'm more in love with it in person. It's such a simple outfit, but i think it all works really together. I'm trying to get this post up asap as myself and Mumma Price are off to London today to go and see Viva Forever tonight and i'm really looking forward to it. Can't wait to spend some quality time together and have a totally girly day of shopping, eating and seeing the show. Have you seen it? What did you think? Sorry for being a bit MIA on my blog this month, myself and my boyfriend decided to mutually end our relationship a couple of weeks ago and as I've been asked a few times on Tumblr i thought it was best to address it on here. This also means i'll be moving out of Leeds, after 5 years i'm ready to start my next adventure. But really everything is absolutely fine and i'm looking forward to the future as cliche as it sounds. Massive love to my friend Harriet for taking these pictures whilst i'm here at home. You're probably going to hear a lot about her now which i'm excited about as over the next few months as we have lots of exciting plans in the pipe line!  I hope you all have a lovely week, can't beleive we're in the last few days of February.
