I'M LOVING + DIY.... BEADED NAILS

Youwearfashion - £9*
(seller has now sold out, alternative here)

This trend has taken the beauty world by storm and rightly so, they're quirky, colourful and just a simply fantastic way to jazz up your nails. I wouldn't recommend putting these on all of your nails, i think you'd drive yourself mad with all the tiny little balls but i think it's perfect for an accent. What i did was paint the nails in a colour closest to the colour of the beads and then poured the bottle over the nail in a bowl (honestly, they go everywhere!) waited for them to dry and then lightly brush off the ones that didn't stick. It's honestly so easy and doesn't take up much time at all! Perfect for a Sunday afternoon pamper sesh.

Have you tried these before? What do you think?

  3. I want to try caviar nails! They look absolutely amazing. They're different to your 'everyday 3D' nails that everyone seems to be jumping on the bangwagon for at the moment. I may have to make a little purchase.

  4. I like the idea of them as an accent nail, but I think it would actually really annoy me to wear them! Shame, as it looks really cute.

p.s. I really like your new blog layout! The colours are lovely x

  5. So are you allowed to call the DIY version "caviar" now or will you still threatened with being sued?

  12. Love the beaded look, and think it's a great idea to do them on falsies then pop them on. Would save a lot of trouble.

  19. I gave myself a caviar manicure, you can see my post about it here http://teacuptoast.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/caviar-manicure.html I did find the beads annoying for the first hour or so because they kept falling off but after that they became rock solid!x

  35. amazing idea. i would encourage everyone to do this and NOT be lured into buying the expensive ciate stuff, because i can assure you, they use EXACTLY the same beads and are ripping everyone off.... trust me, i know.

  36. Oooh, these are so cute. I agree that wearing them on all your nails might be a little much but they'd be such a good 'statement' nail. The little corked bottles are adorable as well xx
