So it's been a while since i last posted anything to do with uni work on here. It's not very interesting either, but i needed to post my recent updates with it so i can screen shot the page for ANOTHER project I'm doing. It has to be in next week and I'm starting it today. Sounds about right...!
Anyway, these Jackson Pollock tributes are the fabric for my main collection. Remember I'm doing it all galaxy themed? Well this is how the fabric for all the tops turned out. Granted these aren't the best pics, but I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out and I'm excited to put the garments together.
All together it took about 4 hours, and i literally tried everything from paint brushes, syringes, water bottles and standing on stools are dropping from a height.
In the end i was covered! Here's hoping it's all worth it...
i love working messily with paint :)
ReplyDeletei have been swamped with my project as well

ReplyDeleteThis print is gorgeous! And you can definitely tell it's galaxy themed. Good luck with the rest of your project!
ReplyDeleteI really like this fabric you've created, bet the garments will be gorgeous! Reminds me of being at uni and always covered in plaster or sawdust!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric, what did you use to make it?
ReplyDeleteI hope your project goes well, and it sounds like fun (well, the messing around with paint part!) Did you try using a water bottle? The mist type ones for plants? I imagine that might work quite well!
