Lookbook / Chictopia

This is the new shirt i got a couple of weeks ago, it was from a charity shop and i just love it. It fits so lovely and i think it's really flattering. I can't get enough of my bodycon skirt either! It really is a one of my favourite buys at the mo!

Student finance rang me earlier, and very long story short, my application has been 'randomly' selected for resubmission and it now stands that i don't get enough to cover my rent, or live by the looks of it. They had no excuse for doing this, nor for doing it 8 weeks before i finish. So as you can imagine I'm pretty stressed about it, and currently want to jack it all in.

The best thing about today was that i got to spend the morning with my Dad (who I've not seen since Christmas.) It was so lovely seeing him, and i actually miss him so much already. It's only another 3 weeks until my birthday, so that means it's not that long until i see them both again. I'm also down in London that weekend for my cousins baby shower which i am so so so excited about!

Another good thing about being 22 soon is that I've added a 22% discount in my shop. Just add the code VIP22 at the checkout and the discount is all yours!

I should be at the bloggers meet this Saturday, unless my uni work decides to complicate my life some more. I'm really rubbish with remembering names/faces so please say hello to me and introduce yourself! I'd love to know who's coming along so please let me know that too... <3

  1. Your blouse is beautiful! Even applying for student finance is stressing me out, so I'm not looking forward to the next three years! x

  2. Oh that's a gorgeous blouse - such a lovely vivid colour.

Student finance don't sound like they've improved since I was at uni! Are you able to apply for a hardship loan or tap a family member up temporarily? Don't jack it all in though hun - it'll be worth it in the end.

  3. the shirt is such a beautiful colour, looks lovely on you :) hope you sort your finance out, that's one thing i definitely do not miss about uni. if all else fails though you could always talk to someone at your uni about it? i had to once and they were really helpful, and sorted it all out for me x

  4. Gorgeous shirt! The colour blocking is perfect for this season.

Sorry to hear about your problems with student finance, I had the same problem in September and had to wait a month before I got my loan. Usually estate agents are really good about putting back your rent if you haven't got enough money to pay it, and only charge about £15 for late payments. I hope it's all sorted soon though!

  6. The same thing happened to me with Student Finance. I ended up having to pay my tuition fees, & having much less than usual for rent etc. But for some reason they'll pay for my 3rd year?! I hate Student Finance..

Argh I hate student finance. They've also screwed me over this year and I haven't been paid my money which has caused me untold problems. Hang in there hun, hopefully they'll fix it in the end!

  18. That shade of yellow is gorgeous against your skin! I hope you get everything with student finance sorted - even in Scotland where we can apply to have our fees paid it's still a really complicated process and something always seems to go wrong, so I don't envy you! Hope it all gets sorted out xx
