I've owned my peter pan collar dress for a couple of months, and in all honesty I've not worn it a lot. I'm not a massive fan of completely black outfits, so it's a bit difficult choosing something to wear with it. Whilst doing a bit of shopping after Christmas i saw a cardigan that had a rip in the back, and some shoulder detail that was fraying from the seems. I had this idea to take the beading off and attach it to my peter pan dress...
It was actually so simple to do, because the detail was already fraying away from the cardigan, it was easy to just cut the treads. I then hand stitched it to just under the fold on the collar. I think it looks really sweet and i'm feeling a lot more inspired about wearing it. What do you think? Would you have a go at doing something like this?
