A WEEKEND IN BERLIN - DAY 3, SUNDAY

Our last day in Berlin was a very chilled one, as we’d done a lot of walking over Friday and Saturday, we thought the perfect way to spend Sunday was to sit and take in the sights from the river, in glorious sunshine for 2 and a half hours...

As I’m sure you’d imagine, there were a lot of tours to pick from. They all went in different directions, lasted for various amounts of time and at set off at different times of day. We wanted to make the most of the day, so we booked a guided tour for 11am which would give us time to get down there (we picked ours up from just up from Museum Island) and have some breakfast before hand (you’ll hear all about the food and drink we ate in my next post!) so we’d be fine for a good few hours.

The trip was brilliant. We’d seen the city from above on Day2, so it was nice to see it from another perspective from the river. Plus the weather was beautiful; we had an open top boat so we really could enjoy the sunshine. The guided tour was great, very detailed and very interesting. I’d highly recommend the boat tours if you’re short on time (or had enough of walking) and want to see the main Berlin landmarks.

Coming soon... Berlin food & drink!
