MY EVENING/BEDTIME ROUTINE

Bedding: George @ ASDA // Fairy Lights: eBay // Lamp: IKEA
PJs:  Primark // Dressing Gown: Peacocks

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream // Neutrogena Hand Cream // Champneys Heavenly Days Pillow Mist

I love sleep. I love lazy weekend mornings and I love getting lost in a good book. Here's my daily evening and bedtime routine...

Monday to Friday my alarm goes off at 6:20am and I'm out the house by 7am. On a good day my 45 mile commute will get me home at 6pm. I try to do an exercise class every day, they're between 30-90 minutes and range from being cardio based to weight training . My gym is only 5 minutes away which makes a massive difference to my motivation! If I've got time before my class (which is most days) I'll prep dinner and do lunches for the following day, if I don't have time I'll do it all when I get back. When dinner is cooking I'll go and shower and get in to my PJs, it's still really cold in our house and I like to be as cosy as possible! Between 7:30 -8:30pm I finally settle down to eat and catch up with James about our days. I usually go upstairs from 9 onwards (depending when i'm back) to get sorted for the following day and get myself ready for bed.

Although we don't have a TV in our bedroom we will watch things occasionally on the laptop, a box set of some sort, at the moment we're really loving Gotham! Or I'll just read my book. I'm currently reading Luckiest Girl Alive which I'm really enjoying.

When I'm ready for sleep I'll put on my The Body Shop Vitamin E Intense cream which is one of my all time favourite products, perfect for keeping my skin hydrated throughout the night. Neutrogena Hand Cream is also a go to, especially on nights where I've done weights. I'm also really loving Champneys Heavenly Days Sleep Pillow Mist which sends me nicely to the land of nod.

And before I know it my alarm is going off and it's time to do it all over again...

  1. Seems so relaxing and I have a similar day but don't get up as early. I enjoy a nice book before bed myself so j have to look into the one you're reading.

  2. I can't believe you have the time/motivation to do all of that AND blog! I've got the Champney's temple balm rub to help get me off to sleep, but I'm so tempted by the pillow spray!

  3. Reading before bed is such a good habit. I really need to get back into that instead of watching TV or YouTube videos. Not having a TV in your room is smart on your part!
