A year in outfit pictures, month by month (apart from the last three!) is very strange to look at all together as i feel i can tell you a story about every single photograph, i'm pleased I've not repeated an outfit either! Even though for the last part of the year i took a break from outfit pictures, looking back through them all really made me miss them which i never thought i would. Some of these outfits have received generous kind words, others have caused criticism, but all of them have made me proud of who i am in one way or another. Style changes, it grows with you as you do and so having these to look back on is really quite nice. I hope you've enjoyed my outfit pictures and have maybe gained something from them, whether that be confidence or inspiration and i hope you continue to like them whenever i post them in 2013. Hopefully i'll be back to posting outfits regularly and you'll understand why i decided to take a break but until then, Happy New Year you babes! Here's to a happy 2013!

MODELS OWN NAIL POLISHES

TRUE BLUE / GOLD DIGGER / PEACH PUFF / THUNDER & LIGHTENING / HOT PINK / PEACH SHERBET 

I'm not really in to leaving the warm comfort of my house on Boxing day to tackle angry shoppers as they attempt to spend pennies they don't have on things they don't need but when my Dad mentioned about picking up a new work bag from our local town i thought i'd go along for the ride. There's only a small selection of shops there and even though it was busy it wasn't stressful the slightest, my perfect conditions for shopping. We popped in to TK Maxx and i headed straight to the beauty section, they had loads of Eylure lashes for £2 (i picked up a couple) bags of Essie Polishes for £7, Bedhead products, Jemma Kid palettes and then these Models Own sets tucked at the back. These were the last two so i snapped them up as soon as i saw them, considering each polish is £5 each online i think this is a mega bargain! I feel like I've got the sales out of my system now which i'm happy about as it's time to massively save for New York in March!

FESTIVE NAILS

I decided to give myself some snowflake nails leading up to the big day next week, it's my works night out tomorrow and as i'm wearing this dress i thought they'd fit in pretty well too. I'm a big fan of decals/stickers, my all time favourite ones are the Chanel ones i did a few months ago but these certainly come a close second. I'll be doing some other nails at the weekend with these and i'm so freaking excited!

I really like Lipsy as a brand, they always have some fab dresses which are worth investing in for special occasions but they also have some great every day wear pieces too. THE BODY SHOP @ CHRISTMAS

All items can be found either in store or online. Yesterday i headed down to The Body Shop Leeds store to have a look at their Christmas range and have a make over with the new Christmas products. I'm a big fan of The Body Shop  i love their tee tree collection, body scrubs and mists so i was really keen to have a look at their seasonal products and believe me they've pulled out all the stops this year! They have some amazing boxes of all shapes and sizes, some full of body butters, shower gels and scented mists, my personal favourite the lolly pop full of lip balms. Their winter make up collection is fab too, complete with smokey eye quads, body shimmers and dewy lipsticks  there's something for everyone. I think The Body Shop really do cater for everyone and you know a lot of thought and effort have gone in to their products which especially comes across with their festive collections.  Do you have The Body Shop on your list to Santa?   Just a heads up, there's a 50% sale online at the moment!

WHAT I WORE

LOOKBOOK / CHICTOPIA  Dress: OhMyLove* | Clutch: eBay | Shoes: Primark | Ring/Bracelet: Primark   This dress has got to be one of the most amazing dresses I've ever owned, i love the colour, the velvet fabric and the peter pan collar details, it's just perfect, especially for this time of year. I originally got this dress for Christmas day, but I've decided to wear it for my works night out on Friday instead. Who am i kidding anyway, the world is lucky if i get dressed on the 25th! It feels so lovely on, fits like a dream and i want to own one in every single colour and wear them every single day! Just for reference, i got size L and i'm 5ft4.  Today i headed down to The Body Shop in Leeds for a makeover and to have a look at their Christmas range. It was a lovely couple of hours and it was nice to have a bit of a pamper. They have some fab gift boxes available this year, along with little stocking fillers. I'm really excited to show you all so the post will be up tomorrow or Wednesday for those looking for some last min present ideas.  I'm so ready for the holidays now (usually i'm such a bah humbug), i'm very much looking forward to going home this weekend and i can't wait for my parents to open the presents i got them. I much prefer the giving side of Christmas and it's always a nice way to say thank you as they do so much for me all year round! Awh, love them!  This afternoon will be spent hugging the radiator trying to stay warm and wrapping presents to Michael Baubles (yes, bauble!) festive album. God, i'm such a cliche! Hope you're all happy and excited for the holidays as much as me!
