During my time at uni it was important to be ahead of everything in the fashion world and know what would be happening 2 years ahead (thanks wgsn, you are a superstar) in order to design appropriate collections. For 3 years this is what i did and i got totally stuck in the fashion trend world (it's a fun but stressful place!) so when i graduated i guess i took a step back from fashion and this showed in my blog too as i introduced beauty posts etc. After starting my job last summer it again became important to be ahead of the trends and so my love for fashion was once again reignited. Anyway, very long and boring story short. As these are the trends we should be keeping an eye out i decided to show you them in dress form, dresses for women if you will. Luckily most of them are already coming through the high street which i'm really excited about as i really love all the trends this year. If anyone wants me to do a high street version then please let me know!
Do you follow the trends? Which one is your favourite?
I wouldn't say I 'follow' trends, but I do buy into pieces when they arrive in the high street stores. I'm liking the white and minochrome trends, clean and simple. But white around a new baby maybe difficult to pull off.lol So I may add in some floral.. Which isn't normally me, but I'm embracing a new year new me.lol Caroline.x
Thank you so much for the sweet comment on my blog it means a lot, just had a look through your blog and decided to follow you, I love everything about it, the design is super cute and your blog is very interesting, I like that you really know what you're talking about, like your passion really shines through your post if you see what I mean ! Anyway have a great day !

i'm not a huge trend person. i'm all about personal style and if it just so happens to be on trend, thats cool. i'm the same as you- after studying fashion for 5 years and then graduating, i suddenly felt so out of the loop! i'm getting back into it now though too. personally i love the sixties- mixed with simple nineties style too :)
Love the 60s and monochrome dresses. Beautiful.
