LIFE LATELY

Uh, so it’s been a while hasn’t it? This is the longest I’ve ever gone in the 7 years of blogging without posting on here. For the past couple of months I’ve been working on a big Christmas campaign at work, which involved a lot of long days and restless sleep! So when the time came to have some time off, I had planned on dedicating some serious time on my blog but when it came to it I couldn’t face it. I needed a digital detox to recharge and that’s exactly what I did. 

But before all that...

Leeds

Mumma P and I had a weekend away in Leeds at the start of October, we’d decided to have a weekend away months ago and decided to tie it in with a trip to the Emmerdale studio for a tour. If you remember the outdoor tour I did in the summer, well this is the indoor set version. Although it’s not where they actually film now, they moved to a bigger studio a couple of years ago, it’s still set out from before. It was really interesting, but I preferred the outdoor tour! Whilst in Leeds we of course hit the shops, I’ve not been back since Trinty was built (you may remember I lived in Leeds for 5 years!) and heading to Primark was a must! My gosh, that place is huuuuge! After shopping we had afternoon tea, cocktails and then it was back to the hotel for some chill time before dinner. It was a lovely weekend; we’re looking at Liverpool for our next adventure!

It was a birthday recently which is the perfect excuse for us girls to get together! I love these girls and anytime I spend with them is always special. We had planned on making a weekend of it, with a lazy afternoon, cocktails in town and then a wedding show for the bride to be the following day.  However, said BTB had a few too many cocktails and couldn’t possibly get in a car to head to the event! I can’t wait to see these girls again; hopefully we’ll have one more get together before Christmas and hopefully make a wedding fair this time! 

Brecon Retreat 

If you follow me on Instagram & Twitter, you’ll know that I spent last week in Wales staying at a beautiful place called Brecon Retreat. I’ve got a full blog post coming next week but I couldn’t not include it in this post, it was the perfect little getaway and I miss it terribly! Can I rewind to last week please?

Things I'm looking forward to: Hopefully seeing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at the weekend, spending a good few hours editing and writing blog posts and eating better! I've eaten soooo much rubbish over the past couple of weeks! 

I've also been trying some new make up from Armani Beauty, as well as a neutral palette from eBay. I've died my hair back to brunette, I've bought my Mums 60th birthday pressies (I won't say what, she catches up on here sometimes) and I've persuaded TBTB to have a hen do aboard next year!
