LIFE LATELY

It’s been a while since I last did a ‘Life Lately’ post and I’ve been up to some lovely things recently so I thought I’d finally share them on here...

Bridesmaid

Remember on the last update I mentioned my best friend had got engaged? Well earlier this month the beautiful babe asked me to be a part of her special day and be her bridesmaid, along with her sister in law, Abby. She wrote us a beautiful card and gifted us a beautiful dressing gown for the big day. I’m so blommin’ excited! Dress shopping starts in January...!

Shirgly Hall

Last weekend myself and James went on a weekend away to Shrigrly Hall in Cheshire for a bit of R&R. In all honesty, it was awful. It was just one thing that went wrong after another. I put in a letter of complaint and was told to expect a phone call from the manager, it never happened. Despite this, the decor was lovely. As was the food, even though we had finished our mains before the sides arrived. Take my advice, don’t visit here. Trip Advisor will agree with me too.

Birthday BBQ

August is full of birthdays, including the Grooms. We headed over to a birthday BBQ which was full of great company, great food and dancing until out feet hurt. It was also lovely to catch up with the #Bridesquad once again and the weather was so lovely. It really was the perfect summer evening.

FEELING SPENDY

For work recently I had to spend the day shopping for a shoot we were working on. Of course, it was never going to end well and it was a running joke between my colleague and I who would crack first... it was me. I bought this bomber in the sale for £30, it was originally £60 and I had been lusting over it for months, had to be right? I also fell in love with these Kurt Geiger trainers, but I held back. Hopefully they’ll 50% off in the future too!

Bank Holiday

On Saturday just gone, the Rhodes crew headed down to Southampton to celebrate another birthday! Throwing it back again to my last Life Lately and the wedding I want to in April, well it was time to celebrate that Grooms 30th! It was such a great night, but unfortunately I drank far too much raspberry vodka and spent most of Sunday feeling very sorry for myself. Luckily, by Monday I was back to myself which was good timing as yesterday I spent the day at Eden Hall Spa with my Mum. It’s out 4th visit here and we love it even more each time. It’s honestly the best spa I’ve ever been to and the whole day is just full of total relaxation. The only probably is it just goes by too quick and I was on my way home before I know it. I already can’t wait to go back again, perhaps one more time before the year is out...

Embracing the present moment has become a mantra, allowing me to appreciate the beauty in simplicity. The tapestry of experiences, both big and small, has woven a colorful narrative that speaks of resilience and growth. Amidst the challenges, there's a silver lining of newfound strength and unwavering optimism. Each day unfolds like a unique chapter, presenting opportunities for connection, self-discovery, and personal triumphs. The rhythm of life lately is harmonious, blending moments of laughter, love, and achievement. With gratitude as my guide, I navigate this ever-changing landscape, savoring the richness it brings. 6. Hey VIPXO community! I stumbled upon this incredible collection of images capturing the essence of life's transitions, particularly the beautiful and sometimes challenging journey through menopause (menopause images). As we've been sharing stories about life lately on this thread, I thought these images could resonate with many of us. It's a visual representation of the diverse experiences we go through, and perhaps it could spark more meaningful conversations about embracing change and supporting each other. Let's continue sharing our journeys and uplifting one another.
