It’ll be two weeks on Wednesday until I’m jetting off to
Greece to spend the week by a pool. Picture a cocktail in hand and a book in
the other and that’ll be me! The weather has been horrible this month and I’ve
been crazy busy at work, so it couldn’t come at a better time. We booked this
holiday back in January and it feels like it’s been a long time coming. We’re
going to a 5* adult only resort to celebrate James' brothers 30th
birthday and you know what? I can’t bloomin’ wait!
As you all know, I’ve been focusing on my health and
fitness a lot this year and I’m still making great progress. I feel the best I
have in years and I’m finally getting to a place where I want to be. But with
the holiday so close I feel like I need a push. So, for 2 and half weeks I’ll giving
Exante another go. I tried it before my holiday last year and felt great! For
this week I’m only going to replace my lunchtime meal and keep having healthy
and nutritional meals in the evening and fruit for breakfast. But the week
before I may go all out and replace all of my meals, I’m going to see how I
feel after this week. Keep on reading if you'd like to know more about Exante and the products they offer...
For those who aren’t aware of Exante, the brand has recently
transitioned from being a
range of ‘diet’ products to focus more on health, nutrition and
weight management – rather than the traditional weight loss and low calorie
diet plans. Each
product is packed full of vitamins and minerals, alongside being a great way to
introduce an added boost of protein to your day or exercise plans. This makes the range perfect for people looking to up their
health game or wanting to try something like a 5:2 diet plan.
I’ve noticed
a real improvement in variety of products since I last tried this. It’s always
nice to see a brand try to better itself and keep pushing for improvements for
what it produces. They have a great range of products such as soups, bars, pancakes
and shakes which are right up my street. They do have ‘main meals’ as well,
such as spaghetti, curries and sausages but the thought of eating that in
packet form makes me feel a little queezy However, they’ve bought out ready meals now
which are a lot more appealing and I’m looking forward to trying one of those.
I’ve done
my measurements and my noted my weight so I’m good to go. I’ll be posting about this on
Twitter and my health & fitness Instagram if you’d like to see what I’m
eating and my thoughts. I will be doing a follow up post after the two weeks
are up, wish me luck!
I've done Exante a couple of times but there are actually a few other VLCD companies with nicer tasting products for a much better price. Also in recent years Exante have treated their exisiting customer base pretty badly.
ReplyDeleteGood luck though!

I haven't heard of this brand before but it does sound interesting! I look forward to seeing how you get on over the next couple of weeks!

I have tried a few Vegan meal options from them & they were really tasty and very filling. I would consider getting them again.
