Shopping With intu Victoria Centre

Last Saturday, James and I were invited to spend the afternoon at intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham, for a spot of shopping and to sample the new restaurant quarter which has just opened. It all worked out very nicely actually as we were staying in the city that night for my birthday anyway. So, here's what we got up to...

I’ve been shopping at the centre for as long as I can remember and I’ve seen it change an awful lot, but it’s most recent make-over has been the biggest yet and it’s still not finished.  Like I mentioned previously it features a new restaurant quarter in the clock tower area (a list of restaurants can be found here), there’s new lighting, flooring and new entrances. It really is so much brighter in there! There have been a lot of new shops that have opened, and shops which I was once familiar with have moved to another location within the centre. So for that reason, I downloaded the app so I could drag us around alllll the shops. As apps go, this one is pretty good. It’s built well, it’s clear and it’s very easy to navigate. I really like the real time map it has; this came in handy when we were looking for Tortilla for lunch! They also have a list of offers available on there too, some exclusive just for app users.

Although there are the big well known stores such as John Lewis, House Of Fraser and Boots at the centre and your usual high street stores like River Island, Topshop and Office. There are lots of individual stores too, including an indoor market on the upper level.  To see a full list of stores, please click here. I fell in love with Tiger which is an amazing home store and sells some lovely pieces, plus it's just so Instagramable! I also really like the Yankee Candle shop and James couldn't help put get some Sweets From Heaven.

We had a great afternoon walking around the centre, popping in an out of shops and picking up some spring time staples, I was challenged to pick some bits for James and chose some Addidas trainers from JD Sports and some Superdry T Shirts. He picked a mint green hoody for me, had to have one which matches my new trainers (post soon). Before we knew it, it was time to head back to the hotel to get ready for our night out. But as always, I'll be back. I've got all of my holiday shopping to do!

Next week I’ll be telling you all about making my own burrito in Tortilla and cocktails in Thaikhun!

  2. Your yard is not just about having the perfect landscape architecture and beautiful greenery. You need to enjoy it as well, but if herds of mosquitoes infest it, there is no way you can sit for the view. This is why you need to hire professionals for mosquito control Largo FL to eliminate these infestations.

  3. Shopping can be a huge drag sometimes and the best way to kick off your day after work, it's shopping. Intu Victoria Centre is a shopping center located in Chirnside in Brisbane. I recommend to visit here https://www.mindk.com/blog/it-team-augmentation/ and get more information for the technology. That's why I've decided to look at some other shops available in Victoria Square.
