A night at the BRITs with Frontera

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve watched The BRIT Awards. I’ve been there since Geri came and rocked her famous Union Jack dress and more recently I saw Adele get all emotional singing ‘’Someone Like You’’... that song still gets me! If you’re like me you’ll have grown up with The BRITs and once February rolls around each year you embrace the evening with open arms like a warm family friend coming to visit. The BRITs are iconic and I love nothing more than to watch the night unfold from the comfort of my sofa with snacks and a glass of something. I’ve claimed the TV for the night so James will be watching it with me too and will no doubt join me with cracking open a bottle from Frontera - official wine of The BRITs.

The BRIT Awards seem to get bigger every year and this year is without exception, the line up of performing artists is incredible. Hello Justin Bieber, Rihanna and James Bay! With Ant and Dec hosting once again you can guarantee some giggles too, what more can you ask for on a Wednesday evening hey? For the first time ever there will be a live stream of the red carpet on The BRITs Facebook page, I always get really excited seeing what everyone is wearing so I can’t wait for this!

Although like I said before I’ll be enjoying the show on the sofa, in my pjs probably, but I really like the idea of a The Brit Awards party and I salute anyone who hosts one! If I were to hold one I’d definitely make everyone dress up as a previous The BRITs attendee, I think I’d have to go all out and go as Lady Gaga 2009. I could pull off a hot pink mini dress and platinum blonde hair right?! This year, the awards have been designed by Pam Hogg and each one is totally unique. One of them is just plain white, a perfect match for a glass of sauvignon I think you’ll agree!
