A few weeks ago I headed down to London to experience the personal styling offered by John Lewis at their Oxford Street store. After a 6am start i got in to London during rush hour aka hell on earth, and made my way to Oxford Street. I met up with two other bloggers Lois and Stephanie, and once inside we were introduced to all the stylists and told about the styling offered in store which was really interesting. After a quick bite of a croissant we were then taken over to Clarins and GHD for hair and make up, which was a lovely treat! Victoria did my make up and she was so lovely and created a really nice smokey look for me. Seeing as the other girls went for curls i thought i'd pick something a bit different and go for polka straight hair. We then headed back to the styling area where we were greeted with croissants, fruit, processo, macaroons and cupcakes! Helllooo breakfast!
There's 4 styling suites which is full of mirrors, rails and comfy chairs. It's like a girls dream walk in wardrobe! Letara was my incredible stylist for the day and she knew just what to put me in and knew my body shape perfectly. She had picked all different types of trends, from florals to leathers and silks to fur. You could tell she'd put a thought of thought in to what to style me in and had picked some amazing pieces as you can see from above. If money was no object i'd own all of them, without a single doubt! We got all dressed up in our snazzy party outfits and had our photos taken by Holly who is just so passionate at what she does and made me feel so comfortable getting my pose on in front of the general public. You'd think after all these years it would come naturally, it really doesn't.
After 'that's a warp!' we headed up to the restaurant Rossopomodoro for a spot of lunch and massively filled up on carbs! Before i knew it, it was time to leave and catch my train back up north. I had such a wonderful day and it was an absolute pleasure to work with such a great team and i'm so grateful for John Lewis for inviting me along.

Those wide leg trousers are absolutely brilliant! I'd definitely need to be a bit taller to pull them off though!
