PRODUCT REVIEW - YSL LIPSTICK IN #21

YSL Rouge Pure Shine lipstick - The Perfumes Club £16.39*

When a fab lipstick comes in to your life you realise your make up collection was missing something beautiful, that would be the YSL Rouge Pure Shine lipstick in colour #21. This berry red shade is very rich in pigmentation but it certainly isn't shimmery as it leaves a perfect shine to your lips, keeping them incredibly hydrated. I much prefer darker colours as i feel they suit my skin tone much better than pinks and this one is right up there with my favourites. I've worn this lipstick so much over the last few weeks and I've made a serious dent in it. I can't rate this lipstick enough, i just think it's so perfect. To see the lipstick on me, just click here

Have you ever tried these lipsticks? Which colour is your favourite?

WISHLIST... EBAY BASKET #24

COAT // BAG // JUMPER // CAT PRINT SCARF // RING // BELT // BOOTS
The of  these posts i do, the more i find myself making excuses to buy at least something on them, which is exactly what i did yesterday afternoon. Over the past year I've built up such a library of items that when i decide to treat myself i just look back on all the posts I've done and pick items i'm lusting after at the time. The only difference with this post is i literally want everything right now, so i need to come up with another excuse to buy the whole lot...

I'M LOVING... BOOHOO BOUTIQUE

(from £20)

A couple of weeks ago i attended the launch of the new limited edition Boohoo Boutique range where i got to meet the team and get to have a look at the new items that would be coming on to the site over the next few weeks. As the majority of it is now available, i thought it would be a good time to show you some of the fab pieces they've got. I know I'm not the first blogger to show the collection, nor will i be the last, but seeing as though i've seen it in person i knew it was something i wanted to feature on here. It's a small collection, but full of amazing pieces none the less. Think sequins, faux fur, baroque print, beaded embellishments and silks, and then you'll be on the right track to what you can get your paws on. I think Boohoo have designed an amazing collection here and I'm having trouble picking a piece for myself (the jacket bottom right is winning so far) as i want it all! It's all perfect for the party season coming up!

What do you think of the collection? Which is your favourite item?

WHAT I WORE ILLUSTRATION BY BALEARAITZART

Last month a very lovely email popped in my inbox from the amazingly talented Lorena from BaleaRaitzART an illustrator from New Zealand (now living in Australia). It was so lovely to hear from her as her blog was one of the first ever blogs i followed all those years ago and i've been a fan of her work for the longest time. Her designs are very girly as her shop is full of shoe illustrations and a beautiful Daisy by Marc Jacobs Print. She update designs quite frequently so you can always find something different on there! She very kindly illustrated this outfit of mine and think it's fab, i feel so lucky to have my own personalised illustration from a talent like Lorena. I hope you check out her stuff, I'd love to heat what you think!

PRODUCT REVIEW - CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES #8 VANITIES PERFUME CLUB

Chanel les 4 ombres #8 Vanites - Perfume’s Club  £28.79*

When I give reviews on my blog, I’ll have tried the product for a few weeks before writing down my thoughts in a blog post. But when this beautiful Chanel palette came popped through my letterbox last week I just couldn't wait to show you all. A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Perfume´s Club and invited to pick a couple of items to review and write about my experiences with the company. Even though the name would imply they only stock perfumes (they do have some amazing offers on those too!), they actually have everything you could imagine from all high end women´s cosmetics at a cheaper price. Think Dior, Clarins, Lancome, YSL etc etc, the website is full of hidden beauty gems with a nice and easy search option, meaning you can find whatever you're looking for.

I headed straight to the Chanel section and obviously fell in love with everything, but as I’ve never tried their eye shadows I was pretty keen on seeing what they were about. So then came the task of picking a colour selection. As we're going in to Autumn I wanted to get something to represent the colours, I decided to get Chanel les 4 ombres #8 Vanities which has 4 purple toned shades, a colour I’m really loving at the moment. Each of the shades have a shimmer undertone, but it's certainly not loose enough to fall over your face like some can do. As far as the pigmentation goes, they're ok. They're certainly not rich or creamy, in fact they come across as quite dry which makes the colour pay off not brilliant. But they do give a lovely shine to the eye lid with a subtle hint of colour which is really pretty. The medium purple (bottom right) has a beautiful mix of gold in there which adds another dimension to the product.

Overall I’m really impressed with the service from Perfume´s Club, they were really helpful and shipping was incredibly fast. As for the Chanel palette, it's a nice colour selection to have and I can see me using it a lot, but if you're looking for full on heavy make up then this one probably isn't for you. I'd be really interested in trying out some others though! I certainly haven't closed the book on Chanel eye shadows just yet!

Have you tried Chanel eye shadows? What do you think?

WHAT I WORE

Lookbook | Chictopia
Coat: Lipsy* | Top: OASAP*
Leggings: Gok for TU range@Sainsburys
Bag: House Of Fraser* | Shoes: Topshop

Well, long time no outfit post. It's been 3 weeks to be exact, and i don't have any other reason for the hiatus apart from the fact I'm not really feeling them at the moment and I'm kinda having some personal time. But it's nothing at all to worry about, everything is perfectly fine but outfit pics aren't really something i want to do at the moment. So even though there's one for this week, it'll probably be even longer until the next one. I hope you don't mind, I'm almost positive you wont! To keep up with updates I'm thinking about adding some text to Fridays Face.

This beautiful faux leather and tweed number is this years winter coat and it's simply perfect! It's heavy enough to keep me warm but it's certainly not too thick to get really hot if you're walking/walk in to a shop (isn't that the worst?!) and the mixture of textures is a nice change. These leggings are a firm favourite of mine at the moment too, Gok has done me proud with these babies as they're the perfect figure hugging, yet flattering, trouser-esque leggings around!

Got a busy couple of weeks ahead as from Saturday I'm going home for the week which i can't wait for! Got two nights out planned with friends and hopefully an afternoon spent with Tami and baby Isla! I hoping to get my Dad started on his food blog too, it's something he's wanted do for so long so hopefully he'll stick to it and make it happen. I'm pushing for DIPXO but we'll see!

Enjoy your week everyone! Stay warm!

WISHLIST... EBAY BASKET #22

Oh this sweater is a hipsters dream come true, just like the Disney cat tee i featured a few weeks ago and i hate to admit it but i love it, more than i should! You can also get tees with the same design, right here. Which one do you prefer? Still lusting after the Celine smilie bag, but i really like this inspired version of it, there's just something about the block green which makes it perfect for A/W! It comes in 11 different colours.

I'M LOVING... BATMAN FASHION

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7093/6947893898_418ed26706_t.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7101/6947893930_6c4f7834db_t.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5329/6947893964_7d3c66fe78_t.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5040/6947894008_20bd88a5f7_t.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5329/7093975143_217f69b277_t.jpg
(all items are under £10)

I'm a big fan of super hero films, both from marvel & DC comics and this year Batman has been up there with the best films I've seen (The Avengers is up there too!) so when batman themed clothing started filtering through in to the fashion world is was only a matter of time before i fell in love with it all and began lusting after these bargain pieces! I know it's pretty out there, and isn't everyone's cup of tea but i think it's fun and fab and sometimes, you just gotta let your childish side out and have a place in your wardrobe!

What do you think of this trend? Love it or hate it?

I'M LOVING... A/W LIPSTICKS

I do love a dark toned lipstick, i think they suit my skin tone much better than lighter more neutral shades. These are my most used lipsticks which happen to be perfect for A/W. I like to think i have a good range of high and low end lipsticks in my collection and at various prices which means they're accessible to everyone no matter what your budget is!

I've featured them all a lot on my blog but if you want to see them in action
click here, here, here, here and here (they're all in order!)

Which is your all time favourite lipstick?
