Finally, an outfit post! I've been trying to get these photos done since Sunday! But due to the ridiculous none stop rain we had for 3 days it just made doing anything but staying indoors impossible. But thanks to a nice little break in the clouds i managed to go outside and snap my favourite outfit at the moment, i know I've said this before but Autumn really is my favourite fashion season and i think this outfit fits in perfectly. They're also better pictures of my hair and new specs, what do you think?
If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know that I'm a big fan of Vero Moda and have featured them lot on here over the years. Usually I'll pop over to ASOS and get my Vero Moda fix but Zalando has a fab range too. I've honestly never seen so much selection in women's clothing and shoes! It's like an Aladdins cave on the site. Another fab website is MyVoucherCodes which I'm you'll already have heard of, it's like a library of voucher codes going round at the moment like for example these shoes were initially £59.99 but by using the MyVoucherCodes discount it made them £47.99 giving a saving of 20% or £12, which i think is pretty good!
This week has been a good week for getting done stuff that I've been meaning to do for ages which has been productive and i'm feeling much better about a lot of things, hoping to do a spot of DIY this afternoon too and then pack for my weekend back home, i can't wait for some home comforts!
Oh and just a heads up for those wanting to advertise on my blog for next month, I've changed the format slightly so if you're interested in seeing what I've planned then just check out my store.

PRODUCT REVIEW - BOURJOIS FALSE LASHES & APPLICATOR
I love my falsies, i wish i could wear them every day but time and patience usually isn't on my side. I apply them with whatever glue have and a pair of tweezers, it sometimes goes to plan but a lot of the time it doesn't and can take me a good few attempts. This new lash applicator from Bourjois is actually fantastic, i managed to put these lashes on in one go and was really happy with the results, the thicker end holds them perfectly and makes it really easy to apply the glue, which is also pretty good too. As far as the lashes go they're ok, but i don't think I'll wear them again. They're a little too ''out there'' for me to pull off i think, but it was fun to see what i looked like in them. Overall I'm really impressed with the applicator and would be really interested in trying a different design in the lashes.

#PASSIONFORFASHION COMPETITION
A couple of weeks ago an email popped in my inbox telling me about a brand new competition taking place on Moneysupermarket.com. The idea of the competition is to create looks for autumn/winter by being as creative and stylish as you can, but also making it great value for money. There will be 6 winners; one for each category, winning £200 each to spend on the outfit they've put together. There will also be an overall winner who will win £1000 to spend on all five outfits, as well as an iPad. Pretty amazing huh? I absolutely love doing things like this and believe me when i say i had so much fun creating the looks, so much so I'm thinking of making it a weekly feature!
Anyway, here's entry.... Wish me luck!
First dates can be pretty nerve wracking at the best of times so the last thing you want to have to worry about is your outfit, which is why I've decided to keep it simple yet classy. I wanted to pick an outfit which can be worn at various places and not look out of place, such as dinner, the cinema or shopping. Neutral colours can be easily dressed up or down and mixed with any colours too so I've picked orange because it's a flirty and right on trend for A/W. Teaming it with subtle gold accessories give warmth to the outfit, along with the light weight snood.
Having already worked in an office, it's apparent to me it''s not always about shirts, ties and pencil skirts. I spend my days surrounded by art workers, designers and people full of creativity so being in an an environment like this is the perfect place to let your personality shine through but keeping it professional. I've picked a patterned long sleeved dress with a cute collar, the long sleeves make it perfect for colder days and can be teamed with a blazer to give it added warmth if needed, like the thicker tights too. Black flats are perfect for the office if you're constantly up and about and going from meetings to meetings. I love this mix of colours too, navy and burgundy will be my favourite for A/W and i love this bag for pulling the colours together and making the outfit complete.
This is the party dress of all party dresses and fits in with the embellished trend perfectly, it's also great for all shapes and sizes too which gets a big thumbs up from me. With the leather, beading and zip details this dress just speaks for itself and deserves to be shown off at all your Christmas parties. With not wanting to take away from the greatness of this dress, I've picked black and gold accessories which compliment the dress beautifully and gives it a classic feel.
The ultimate comfortable and causal outfit, designed for everyone. This style of footwear is a must have and and high street is getting well in on the trend, these ones are perfect for days when you're out and about! Keeping it pretty neutral with the grey but adding a pop of colour with the trousers and umbrella to brighten up those miserable rainy days. Focusing on the colours of this floral backpack (a trend which continues through to A/W) I've picked the studded wrap bracelet which again links the grey together. A totally cool and mega trendy outfit for every day wear!

SWEATER // STUDS // STUDDED BRA // BRACELET // NECKLACE // BAG // LIP BALM
At first i wasn't so keen on Boy London being everywhere but i actually really like the sweaters, they come in grey and black too. I still can't get over the neon trend, i feel like it's going to be like my love of block brights which is still going strong after a year! Now i've got some time off i want to really get in to DIY, i've got a couple of items waiting to be started and eBay is such a great place for finding cheap and unique studs. Oh and I've only included the studded bra for the anon who asked me to find one the other day! I think i'm a few sizes too big to be able to pull that little number off!

I'M LOVING... MY NEW HAIR
The first thing i noticed was how large the place was, I've walked past it a thousand times but i just never thought anything of it. Being a Saturday it was really busy and people were coming and going all the time but not once were you left waiting. I was offered a drink on my arrival with magazines and offered again a few times through my hours there which was nice. I also had a head, shoulder and had massage which was really lovely. Everyone was really friendly and so helpful. They also have spa rooms downstairs for massages, waxing and spray tans as well as manicures upstairs.
I had my hair done by Rob the creative Director and it's actually his family who owns the business. I only realised this when i asked ''So how long have you worked here?'' fail. When we were talking about what i wanted to have done i showed him a couple of pictures, i don't even think i knew exactly what i wanted but he did and it turned out just perfect. I don't think the top picture really does it justice because i think it looks a lot more lighter in person, it's very honey/light brown coloured which blends beautifully with my natural colour.
I'm so impressed with my time at the salon today, i really was treated so well and the friendly atmosphere made it a really enjoyable visit. I totally recommend Russell Eaton salsons, I honestly couldn't ask for a better stylist and I'll certainly go back next time i get the courage to get it chopped!
