I'M LOVING... BLOCK COLOUR TOPS
Color Block Long T-Shirt/Dress - £11.80
I came across these tops last week during an eBay search and fell in love with them instantly, i couldn't decide on just one colour so i thought I'd do a whole post about them! I think tops like this are perfect for every day wear, with leggings, tucked in to skirts or just simply on their own. They can be easily dressed up or down and at only £11.80 i think they're a massive bargain!

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that everything I'm wearing (apart from the skirt) I've bought from eBay. But I'm going to go with good, yes?
First up is this shirt which is very much like the Zara one, i snapped it up for just under £10. I actually wear this a lot for work as it's perfect for under jumpers, it works really well with my Topshop rainbow knit too! Secondly is this Hermes (not really) bag which is becoming an absolute favourite of mine, it's the perfect size for the necessities and I'm thinking about getting one in a different colour, just to add that little bit extra to a plain outfit and finally there's the bracelets. The spike one you've seen before a few times but this is the first time I've shown the harness style one and i love it! I'd seen some similar ones floating around on other blogs so after having a search for eBay and seeing this one for a mere £3.87 I knew it had to be mine!
This eBay outfit was totally unintentional, but i quite like the idea of it! So if you'd like me to do a whole eBay outfit post every now and again please let me know.

I'm going through a bit of a pink phase at the moment which is quite unlike me, but I thought I'd embrace it and roll with it! I'm still loving neon too so I'd quite like these pieces to add to my collection. Do any of you remember the Chanel nails I did a couple of months ago? (post here) Well, I've been really wanting to try some other designs and I absolutely love the ones above, for £1.99 i don't think you can go wrong!

KAREN MILLEN #DESTINATIONDENIM EVENT

Yesterday i hosted the Karen Millen Destination Denim event at Manchester Trafford Selfridges to launch (you guessed it) their new denim range. Karen Millen aren't known for jeans, so this is all new and exciting and the best thing is they're all affordable pieces, starting at just £75. They haven't just got your typical black or blue jean, they've gone all out with designs from blossom, snake and metallic prints coming in a wide range of colours and styles and for me personally, i was very happy to see some of the designs going up to a size 16. All the girls on the shop floor were rocking the jeans and i think they look fabulous!
The event was really lovely and it was really interesting to learn about the collection. The jeans we're flying off the shop floor by the end of the event which was really nice to see. Karen Millen have made such an effort with this collection and I'm not surprised they're so popular! It was also really nice to meet some other bloggers too and have chat about all things blog related whilst drinking some bubbly and eating our way through the personalised chocolate delights (some of them had vipxo on them!), it really was the perfect Saturday afternoon.
A big thank you to Karen Millen for inviting me to host the event and to all the ladies in the stores who were so lovely and helpful. It was a pleasure to have been a part of it all!

PRODUCT REVIEW - SLEEK BB CREAM

Usually on my blog you'll only see reviews from products i genuinely love or feel the need to voice my opinion on something specific. If i simply don't like a product, i just won't mention it. With that in mind, here's what i think of this product.
If you've been reading my blog for a while now you'll know that i've been trying lots of BB creams from various brands (here, here & here) so when this little one from Sleek popped through my letterbox i was excited to give it a go as i'm a big fan of Sleek and use their blush palette regularly.
I started using it a couple of weeks ago now, during which time i started using some other skin care products too. I naturally have good skin, I'm not sensitive to anything and aside from the humid weather we've been having it's been in quite good condition. So when i started to break out, i mean literally break out to the point where i had 5 separate spots over my face which were very painful and have left marks, i was pretty worried. Now this is so unusual for me, like it's never happened before so i was quite shocked. I stopped trialing the products and stopped wearing make up completely to give my skin a rest and just see what was happening. After a couple of days it had cleared up and although it wasn't great, it wasn't bad either but it also meant i had to work out what was causing it.
On Sunday when i was getting ready to go out i reached for the Sleek BB cream, i don't know what made me pick it up but I'm glad i did. Within minutes of applying it my skin started to feel very irritated and a rash appeared around my mouth, over my chin and down to my jaw line. It was incredibly itchy, became inflamed and little spots (which are still there but better) appeared (to see a pic click here). It calmed down after a while but it i was pretty annoyed I'd had a reaction in the first place, but at least i knew what was causing my skin to hate itself. I have now gone back to using my usual products and trying out new ones and so far it's absolutely fine and got back in to the original condition which I'm really happy about.
If i didn't have a reaction to this product i don't think i would have used a lot anyway. It's a little too thick (will attach a picture later - forgot to upload) for my liking and it doesn't give a decent coverage, for me personally anyway.
Obviously this goes without saying but just because i had a reaction to this it doesn't mean you will too. I know lots of other bloggers who have raved about this and rate it highly. Unfortunately though it's just not the right product for me and i won't be using again.

Every now and again something will come in to my wardrobe and I'll wonder how i ever lived a day without it, that would be the rainbow knit which i featured in last weeks wishlist post. I just love everything about it, the colour, the shape, the material... it's just perfect! I should also point out that even though i did get the bag on eBay it was MONTHS ago and it was the ONLY time i've ever come across a LV. So please don't ask me to find you one as i really won't be able to help, even though I'd like nothing more!
So i've got an exciting event coming up on Saturday (25th) which involves you lovely ladies! I'm going to be at the Selfridges Trafford Centre (Manchester) with Karen Millen for their Destination Denim Event (all info here) and you're more than welcome to come with me! From what i've heard so far it's going to be really exciting and it'll be a nice way to meet some of you. Last week was so busy at work i didn't know if i was coming or going! I didn't manage to keep on top with blog stuff either, especially with the the giveaways. So i've still got 3 pairs to giveaway and a winner to pick which i will sort out asap! For everyone else i will get your sunglasses posted this weekend whilst I'm at home. I can't wait to go home for the bank holiday and catch up with everyone. Fingers crossed we'll have some of the blazing sunshine everyone in the south seemed to have!

I'M LOVING... MARKS & SPENCER
Last week i posted about Nexts A/W collection and stated that it was a shop which i never usually shop in. A lot of you were in agreement with me so i thought I'd do another post with another high street store which i would always walk past, Marks and Spencer. Here's a selection of some of their items on site and coming soon, from casual to work wear and everything else in between. I personally love their tailored items and blouses!

I'M LOVING + DIY.... BEADED NAILS

This trend has taken the beauty world by storm and rightly so, they're quirky, colourful and just a simply fantastic way to jazz up your nails. I wouldn't recommend putting these on all of your nails, i think you'd drive yourself mad with all the tiny little balls but i think it's perfect for an accent. What i did was paint the nails in a colour closest to the colour of the beads and then poured the bottle over the nail in a bowl (honestly, they go everywhere!) waited for them to dry and then lightly brush off the ones that didn't stick. It's honestly so easy and doesn't take up much time at all! Perfect for a Sunday afternoon pamper sesh.
