PERSONAL SHOPPING @ LEEDS TOPSHOP

These are the items in my bag... one, two, three, four, five, six & seven.
(I received a press discount for the items, but i would have purchased them regardless)

On Saturday i popped along to the brand new sparkling Topshop which has just opened in Leeds as part of the new Trinity building. I was invited along and try the personal shopping option they have in their larger stores (full list here) where the girls pick some pieces based on your profile and personal preferences. Prior to the meeting i had to fill out a profile about myself which got sent to the girls so they could pick items which would be placed in the dressing room for me to pick and try on as i wanted. A girl called Emily was looking after me and she picked all of the items you can see above, considering we've never met before she did a really good job and picked some beautiful pieces, some i wouldn't have even thought to look at. She was really helpful with getting other items or changing sizes and was always on hand to give her opinion of what i was trying on which was really nice to have.

The personal shopping is totally free and anyone can do it (you're not obliged to buy anything) and it's great way to shop with it being stress and care free, they basically do all the hard work for you. I think something like this would be prefect if you have a special occasion coming up and need an outfit, or if you're having a total wardrobe overhaul. The area is totally quiet and chilled out, with your own dressing room and full length mirror you get to have a real look at what you're trying on without being in a rush. .

I honestly think this service is brilliant, and the fact it's totally free gives it an even bigger thumbs up for me. I totally recommend this to everyone, i can't wait to go back and do it again!

I've often considered the personal shopping but I worry I'd feel too obliged to spend money. I like the sound of it though. x

  11. Personal shopping looks like such a fun thing to do but I'm scared it would take all the fun out of actually rummaging around the shop haha. I guess I'll have to try it and see

  25. I love this idea, especially for a special occasion. I love the new Leeds store but it was way too loud! I couldn't handle doing a regular Topshop browse in that branch.

  30. It's quite nice to see more shops branching out into this. I work in a boutique which is very very customer based. We call our customers weekly, and then they come in and we basically style and pick stuff for them.. so all they do is pay for the bill! Ha.
Love the jumper you've picked.. the colour is fab!x
