LUSH HAUL

On Monday i popped to Lush to pick up a couple of replacement items, but mainly to try some new products. As always the girls were really helpful and helped me pick a range of items which would be best suited to me and i left the store feeling very happy, and with a lighter purse.

When it comes to shower products i much prefer ones with exfoliating ingredients in them as i feel they're much better for my skin. I've most recently been using a peach one from The Body Shop which i'm really loving, but with it being £12 i couldn't justify replacing it. So i wanted something similar but a little cheaper and this is perfect for the job. With the acidic ingredients such as lemon juice, oil and orange flower it's the best thing to use to wake up in the morning.

I've heard so much about these and I've wanted to pick one up for the longest time, i had my mind set on getting the bubblegum one as it's a flavour i'm a big fan of (hello ice cream, i'm looking at you) but it was just too sweet. As you can see these lip scrubs are pretty much made of sugar and not much else, as it's the best thing for getting all the rubbish from your lips but it's also good to use when you have a sweet craving as it's totally edible. So i picked up the mint chocolate one, which is still sweet but the mint gives it a really fresh feel. I've been using it for a few days now and my lips feel a lot smoother but i certainly couldn't use this all day long, i'd be on a sugar high by the end of it but a couple of times is just enough!

This shampoo is a new edition to the Lush line and i think it'll be a popular product. Now i'm a big fan of bananas and i eat one every day but i must admit i was a little surprised to see that fresh bananas are used in it, i mean i know how quickly banana go off so i couldn't see it working. But it does, really well actually. With a mix of berries, flower oils and soya this shampoo is fantastic. I don't know what it is but using something like this makes me feel a lot better about what i'm putting through my hair, and knowing all the goodness is helping it greatly I never thought about using 'home made' products like this, but i can honestly say it'll take a lot for me to use anything eles now, i think it's brilliant and so worth the pennies.

BB SEAWEED - £5.95

I loveeeee the masks from LushCatastrophe Cosmetic is a favourite but i had to resist and pick something which i haven't tried before. With the cold weather my skin gets a lot more reder in pigmentation (i'm sure it happens to a lot of you too!) so when the girl in store told me that this one was best for cooling redness i thought it would be the best one to try. It doesn't smell amazing, which is something i'm having difficulty with but i'm willing to give it a go and hopefully i'll notice a difference and be able to rave about this one too!

 ICKLE BABY BOT - £1.90 & VANILLA FOUNTAIN - £3.25

I've never tried the ickle baby bots bath bomb but the lavender scent really appeals to me as i find it really calming and prefect for a night time bath. I think the small size is great too as sometimes the bigger bombs can become a bit overwhelming but this size is perfect. Vanilla fountain is my all time product from Lush and it makes me so sad to know they're discontinuing it, i don't get why they would stop making something so amazing! I think i'm going to have to stock up for Christmas.

What are your favourite products from Lush? Which ones should i pick up next time?

    1. You have got to be joking. sea shepherds are amazing its the Japanese whalers who are evil not sea shepherds! You wanna get your facts straight before you start trying to give these people a bad name. I bet you use lots of products tested on animals don't you? Lush are so ethical and I would rather support them and sea shepherds than loreal and all those animal killing cosmetic companies!!!!!

  8. This looks like such a great haul! I actually have the seaweed face mask on my face as I read this, I didn't know it was supposed to reduce redness but it is something I suffer from in cooler months so I definitely hope this helps! The shampoo looks gorgeous, I'm a big fan of the Body Shop's Banana Shampoo and Conditioner so I'll definitely give the Lush one a go :)

  20. I started loving lush when I got into animal rights and went veggie. its worth the money as its all natural and ethical. I love the bubble bars because they last longer than bath bombs as you just crumble in a little bit for a bath of bubbles! At Xmas or for parties I bathe in their glittery bath bombs. my fave scent is karma and I have the perfume. the shampoo sounds amazing next time I have a spare £18 I will try it! Or maybe make my own lol. nice to see an ethical company being loved by you and your readers, I'm so tired of seeing animal testing companies blogged about. x

  22. I love Lush, did they have the popcorn lip scrub in your local store? that one is absolutely amazing - its salty and sweet and smells divine.. highly recommended

I love the little robot bath bomb too, its such a quirky shape and smells lovely. definitely agree its good in a smaller size too, some of these lush bath bombs are so huge that the amount of scent they give off leaves me with a banging headache - anything but relaxing! x
