PRODUCT REVIEW -JUNE JOLIE BOX

£10.00 (plus p+p)*

ELYSAMBRE LIPSTICK CARE 3.5g - I received the clear lipstick in my box this month which is fine by me as i use balms just as much as coloured lipsicks. It's an ok product, the only downside is the scent, to me it smells a bit plastic like. But it's a nice little product and it certainly does the job.

L'OCCITANE HYDRATION CREAM 15ML - This is my first ever L'Occitane product and I'm happy to say it lives up to the hype. It's a lightweight nourishing cream with a lovely fresh scent. It's the perfect size for carrying in your handbag and i must admit it's come in to it's own over the past week. My skin has really suffered with the humid air and lack of air circulation in my office at work so it's been really nice to try a hydrating product. Between this and Liz Earle I've found my skin going back to normal so this little pot gets a big thumbs up from me!

YON-KA VITALIZING CREAM 50ML - This product is a lot like the L'Occiatine one as it's hydrating and leaves your skin feeling fresh. On the box it says it's ideal for a make up base which I've been trying, i works best with bb creams as it gives a really nice glowy look but for thicker foundations i find it makes my skin look a little greasy. It's a generous size and by far the best value product in the box.

INSTITUT ESTHEDERM BODY LOTION 20ML - I haven't actually tried this sun cream because well, lets be honest the weather has been rubbish. I think it'll be a really nice to use though and who can complain about an anti-wrinkle product? The only downside is the tube is only half full. I don't know if that's just mine or everyones is like this, but that's a little annoying. The size means it's perfect for touch ups throughout the day if you're out and about.

I'm a really big fan of Jolie Box and although this box isn't a favouruite box it's still really good. Jolie Box always have a great range of products/brands and like I've said before i like how everyone gets the same (sometimes similar) products so it's totally fair. With having 3 cream products i can understand if people think that's too much, but when you work out the value of the box it goes well over the RRP so for that reason, it's amazing!

Did you receive this months box? What did you think?

  1. This is the first beauty box I've got to admit - that I've been impressed by. I'm normally not a fan, but those do look like great little samples!

  6. I am tempted buy the idea of a monthly box of beauty samples... but I don't want to risk receiving any products which have been tested on animals! *Humph* Any advice? x
