PRODUCT REVIEW - GINVERA BB CREAM & MARVEL GEL

Marvel Gel - £22* // BB Cream - £20*

After not having much luck with the MUA BB cream and falling in love with the Maybelline one I thought i was sorted. But when i had the chance to try another one from Ginvera i thought I'd see what it was about.

''Enriched with premium Green Tea, Ginseng, Chinese Angelica and Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea Nude Cover BB cream provides the benefits of blemish free concealing, sun block effects, whitening, moisturising and reduction of lines, providing a long lasting smooth and ultra light feel to nourish and perfect your skin.''

Very rarely do i come across a product which does exactly what it says on the box, but this one actually does. The cream makes my skin glow, keeps it hydrated and gives me amazing skin tone. I have no desire to use anything else for the foreseeable future, it does everything i want.

The marvel gel is an exfoliating product which aims to remove blackheads and layers of dead skin. I've never had a problem with blackheads (luckily) but the humid air has ruined my skin and to be honest i was at a loss of what to do. So after trying lotions and potions i ended up using this and it has 100% sorted my skin out. If anything it looks better than it did before!

I've been using the BB cream every day for the past 3 weeks and after removing my make up with Liz Earle - Cleanse & Polish I've been using the gel to get a deep clean.

I will 100% purchase the BB cream again but i feel as though i could probably find a similar product to the gel which does the same job for cheaper. If you're interested in trying both of these there's an offer where you can get both for £36.

Have you tried these products? What do you think?

  1. I've not really got on with any of the BB creams I have tried (think I tried the same two as you) but this one sounds lovely... I like the idea of the more natural products, especially for my face. I might be tempted to give this one a go! The packaging is lovely too!

  3. I really love BB creams, currently use the Garnier one. I'm not one for foundation, so that's probably why I like it!

  5. I've been using the BB Cream but mines nearly run out, so I definitely need to replace it, it's my favorite make up item! x

  6. I have only tried asian bb creams but seems like so many non-asian brands are coming out with amazing bb creams nowadays. I really want to try some out since I love wearing bb creams.

  7. I really want to give these a go now - the humidity has totally ruined my skin as well and I've not been entirely sure what to do about it!

  8. Bit confused by the "whitening" aspect of the gel - what does that mean?!

  9. BB Creams don't work for me, sadly and especially the Maybelline one doesn't do anything for me! Ah, the difference skin types make!

This sounds like something I should get my hands on as my skin has gone so bad due to the odd weather!
