Dress: eBay | Jumper: Next*
Necklace: Jon Richard*
I bought this dress on eBay a couple of weeks ago when the weather was really warm and i realised i didn't have any suitable warm weather clothing. Whenever i buy something now i always think about whether i could wear it for work and i this one ticked the boxes. I know I'm not showing the dress brilliantly as i have a jumper over the top, so if you want to see it in full just click the link above. I've also seen it in black, navy and pink and in true me fashion, i want one in every colour. I was gifted this jumper when i went to the Next A/W press day and even though its meant for A/W the colour and lightweight feel of it make it perfect for this season/weather we're having at the moment and it's become a statement piece in my wardrobe.
I had a really busy few days at the end of last week as i finally started my new job! I am absolutely loving it and i can see myself being rally happy there. I'm totally in my element and I'm really enjoying it, so even though it's been a stressful few days it's also been really fun few days too! As it's in Sheffield (and i live in Leeds) i now have a car which makes the journey a million times easier, it did however take me 2 hours to get in on Thursday! Who knew how disastrous a wrong turn on a roundabout could be?! But after parting with more pennies than i wanted to (excuse me whilst i weep) i now have a satnav!
On Thursday i’ll be attending the Leeds College of Art end of year show which i’m actually really looking forward to! Having done the same subject (different location) myself and finishing last year i’m really excited to see what the soon to be graduates have done. A couple of my friends are on the course so i know how they’ve been feeling and it’ll be good to finally see the things they’ve been stressing over all year!
I should probably point out I'm actually writing this on Sunday afternoon, obviously with being at work and not getting home until 6.30 every evening i just haven't got the time during the week. So I'm trying out the idea of doing all my blog posts at the weekend and scheduling them for the week. This way i get to still post every day and it just makes it a little easier for me. But we'll see how it all works out! My little corner on the Internet is first and foremost most important and i would be very upset if i had to give it up!
This past week has been much more enjoyable, I've got myself in to a routine of times of eating and I've actually found it really helpful. I've enjoyed the food a lot more and i haven't found myself missing anything. As i stuck to it religiously all week i decided to give myself this weekend off (in moderation of course though!) and I've already noticed I'm eating half as much as i usually would. Surprisingly I'm looking forward to getting back on it tomorrow morning and hopefully having another good week. I have now lost the first few lbs which was nice to see, but i don't think I'm going to be one of those people that drops serious lbs on this programme. I'm pretty certain I've lost at least an inch on my waist too, I'd really like to see it go on my hips and thighs now though!
I'll be updating again next Monday. If you have any questions please feel free to tweet/email/formspring.
Disclaimer: I have been given these meals for free but it in no way changes my opinion on this programme. This is a personal choice. I am not doing this for anyone but myself and I am certainly not saying the size I am now is 'wrong' it's just not a size I’m not comfortable with on myself.
