Blushing Rose / Peachy Keen

I love ELF products, I’ve been a massive fan for a while now and have mentioned them a couple of times on the blog. So when I get a chance to buy a few more products I’m always there in a flash! I’m often checking out their latest items on their website and even though they’re really cheap as it is I don’t like paying postage on items online, so I usually wait until there’s a code floating about. This is exactly what happened a few weeks ago!

I love their Radiance Blushers and I currently own 3, but I thought it was time to try out another range of their blushes. Their studio line is brilliant, they have a wide range of products to choose from and even though they cost a couple of pounds more than the other ranges they’re still so reasonable that you’re still getting a bargain.

I’ve been using my bronze blusher for a while, and as much as I love it I wanted something a little more pinky. So the first one I choose was ‘Blushing Rose’ which reminded me a little bit of Nars Orgasm with the immediate pink tone with gold specks running through. It’s a beautiful colour because the shimmer really adds another dimension and the pink keeps it pretty and girly, the colour payoff is really good! I’ve been wearing it for a couple of weeks now and I really like it, it’s deffo a new favourite!

The second one I got was and I was a little disappointed because I didn’t think it looked like its picture much. But it is still really nice, again very pigmented and adds texture over another colour. It’s very light so it’s perfect over a matte blusher if you wanted to add a bit of shimmer to it and create a new look!

Have you ever tried Elf blushes? What do you think?

So here I am, I’m in Canada! It’s currently 2pm and I’ve come online to try and do some work. But of course I’m getting distracted by all things blog related!

Everything went brilliantly yesterday, there were no delays (well, apart from being 40 mins late getting in to Amsterdam and it meant rushing across one side of the airport to the other!) and I was surprised with how quickly it went and how much food we were given! I watched the film Bridesmaids which was so funny I was laughing out loud! In the end I ended up being up for 25 hours, and I’m starting to feel tired again now but alas, this jet lag will not defeat me!

Here are just a few pics from yesterday, they’re not anything exciting but at least it gives you an idea of what I saw out of the window! The second pic is after leaving Europe, the mountain pics are of Greenland (which seemed to go on forever!) the city pic is Vancouver and then the sky pic is on the boat to Vancouver Island (where I am)

My grandparents don’t have wi fi which is a bit annoying, but it’s not so bad. It just means doing everything on my laptop then transferring to their desk top which could take a while! But oh well, at least I’m connected to the world in some way!

I hope you’re all well and smiling! Hopefully will be able to post again tomorrow!

Lookbook | Chictopia
Dress: QVC | Belt: Peacocks
Bag: Vintage| Shoes:Primark
Braclet: Monsoon c/o The Look Show
Lipstick: ELF 'Gypsy'

I love this dress, it isn't something i would usually go for which probably makes me like it a lot more. It has a real vintage look and i think the length is really flattering. As soon as i saw it i thought of Kelly and her amazing vintage wardrobe!

I can’t believe I’m leaving for the airport in like 14 hours, my Dad and Matt are taking me (probably going to make me more sad though) to Manchester. I’m flying to Canada via Amsterdam which doesn’t really make much sense as I’ll be going forward to end up going back (that makes sense right?!) and it makes the journey just over 13 hours. But I’m hoping to make the time productive and try and get some articles done for work. I land at 10pm UK time which is 2pm Canadian time, so it’ll be a very long day! I know I’ve got a window seat which is amazing, so hopefully I’ll be somewhere decent and able to get some pictures. I hope they put a good film on too! So with that, my laptop, my kindle and ipod I shouldn’t be toooooo bored! Watch me sleep the whole journey now!

I’ve been doing all the last minute bits today, i popped in to town to buy some new pjs and ended up picking up a matching tracksuit for the flight (I know, mega lolz) a new make up bag, underwear, socks and hair bobbles. It all came to £45 which shocked me a little, damn you Primark for upping your prices!

I have so many posts planned for when I’m away it looks like I’ll be posting every other day which is fab! I didn’t realise how many posts I had waiting to be published until I went through them all yesterday! I’m also going to be doing a teeny tiny giveaway too which is going to be live tomorrow. So hopefully I’ll still be around as much as I am now.

So next time you hear from me (after tomorrows little post) I’ll be 8 hours behind and about 5000 miles away. Wow, that’s kinda scary! If you want updates on what I’m up to feel free to follow me on Twitter! I really hope I don’t get home sick, and I really hope I don’t come home to find that Lily has replaced me as her BFFOREVZ2K114LYFE!

Ohh just a heads up before I go, today is the last day I’ll be accepting payments for October ad space. Any after today will not be put up until November! So click here if you’re interested!

Thanks for everyone who has got in touch; I currently have a lot items on my list. If you want me to have a go at finding an item for you please get in touch via Formspring and I'd be happy to help! Please keep in mind that i won't be able to find everything you suggest, there are certain limits on eBay that even i can't get around! I’m going to try and keep up with these whilst I’m in Canada. But it might not be a weekly thing; It might be a bit more of tweeting/tumblr instead. But I’m going to try my best to keep up with it all so please keep your suggestions coming in!

Not your average ‘what I wore post’ as yesterday was my graduation! It was very exciting and I guess some what emotional! It’s VERY strange to think that it’s all over now and I’m officially a Bachelor Of Arts Graduate! The day went very smoothly, there were no hiccups and it was lovely to see everyone all dressed up! Even my hair/make up was well behaved and I actually liked how it all turned out!

It was lovely to celebrate with my parents and boyfriend and it really was perfect! I even got a Kindle from M&D which was a total surprise and I’m over the moon with it! Maybe I won’t be so bored on the plane to Canada after all!

Just in case you’re reading this one Rents (I know you sometimes do!) just want to say THANK YOU for being a wonderful Mummy & Daddy and I love you both very much!

I was contacted by My Label a few weeks ago now about collaborating together to do a ‘pop up shop’ on their website. The very lovely Clare gave me the option to pick my favourite items from the site for you guys and to give you a 15% discount on them! How lovely?! I have two pages of selections from tees, dresses, bags, hats and shoes (+ more) To get a discount just use the code VIPXO15 at the checkout!

Just a little thank you…

So on Monday night I found out (thanks Lilz) thank I have been shortlisted for the Cosmo Blog awards. (SAY WHATTTTTTTT!!!) It was TOTALLY unexpected and I was very shocked to see my name up there in the ‘established fashion blog’ section with some of my all time favourite blogs. It’s such an honour to be up there with them and I’m over the moon to have even been considered! So I just want to say THANK YOU if you nominated me, it means an awful lot to think my little blog is award worthy! I know the competition is stiff, and like I said I’m totally ecstatic to have been nominated but if you want to vote for me that would be the icing on the cake! All you have to do it pop your email address in, click ‘established fashion blog’ and then VIPXO is bottom left! Thank you again if you decide to give your vote to me!

This is the brand new sparkling perfume from the one and only Britney Spears. It launches today (21st September) and is a follow on from her popular ‘Radiance’ scent from last year. Cosmic residence is a sensual floral fragrance and was inspired by the idea of luminous sensuality. I usually find her perfumes a little too sweet for me, so it comes as a surprise to find this isn’t really that sweet at all and has a nice little kick to it. My best friends love her perfumes and have both gone through numerous bottles of Fantasy and Hidden Fantasy so I was thinking about gifting this bottle to one of them for an upcoming birthday. But actually, the more I smell it the more in love with it I get and I think I might have to keep it for myself! The packaging is also a massive plus for me, I’m a sucker for a pretty looking product and so this one really does tick all the boxes! I was doing a little research on Britters and found out that her perfumes are the most popular celebrity brand out there and cosmic radiance is her 10th bottle! Is there anything this girl can’t do?!

I’d love to hear what your favourite Britney music video is? Mine has to be ‘(You drive me) Crazy’ because it’s just so old school. It’s fun, cheeky and makes me want to dance! Plus, Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the teenage witch) makes an appearance which at the time was just AMAZING!

Finally, to celebrate the launch of this lovely fragrence they are giving away the chance to win an out of this world experience with… the Femme Fatale herself! From 21st September – 18th October, they will be giving away TWO tickets every HOUR to the much anticipated Femme Fatale tour, plus one bright star will win two VIP passes to MEET BRITNEY at the Wembley London show including flights, accommodation, VIP tickets and backstage passes. HOW EXCITING?! All you have to do is click here for a chance of winning!

Lookbook | Chictopia
Jacket/ Dress/ Tights: Primark | Shoes: eBay

I wore this little number to the Look Show on Saturday, the jacket and the dress are both my recent purchases and if you saw my video you would have already seen them! The boots are the same as the one’s I mentioned in one of my eBay finds post a couple of weeks ago. As much as I love them, the thought of wearing them all day travelling to and from London amongst other things just really didn’t appeal to me, so I wore my trusty patent loafers instead.

The Look Show had a lot of good and bad points, it was lovely to be around some of my favourite people but the whole experience wasn’t the best. Westfield was just so busy you couldn’t move and it made me feel very claustrophobic and sick. Once we finally picked up our tickets I was told I couldn’t go in to the press lounge (where everyone else was!) because of my ticket and we originally had to watch the show from here, so as you can imagine it wasn’t the best. I was seriously annoyed at the whole thing (I considering leaving) and to top it off the girls at the front weren’t very helpful and one was very rude! Cutting a very long story short, we managed to get in eventually and sat on the back row. I felt as though I couldn’t enjoy it because of all the stress but I was very excited to see the high street collections and I’m feeling very inspired now looking back at it all! Big love to Lara for being simply amazing and sorting it all out!

So this week is pretty exciting, tomorrow is my last day at work until Novemeber (even though i will be doing work whilst I'm over there) and i graduate on Thursday (FINALLY!) i think I'm going to wear this outfit actually! But knowing me it'll change last minute and I'll end up wearing something totally random! I'm so excited to see my parents and all my uni friends again, it seems so strange to not be starting a new year in education.

How is it 7pm already?! I'm going to stick my pjs on, have some dinner and watch the telly box! Sleepy evenings really are the best!

I'm back again with another 'I'm loving...' post and I'm so excited to show you these sweet t shirts! I know they've been around for a while and i think it was American Apparel that did them? (i could be wrong, please correct me if i am) but i know they've been very popular! I thought the price of about £12 was just too good not to share and you know i love an ebay bargain!

Seriously cannot explain how long it took me to do all those letters/links up there ^ so i hope you appreciate it lolz! I know it's stating the obvious (I'm bound to get asked) but all you do is click the letter and I'll take you to THAT tee!

Which colours do you like? Will you be treating yourself to one?
