PRODUCT REVIEW - NEW CID COSMETICS PALETTE

£21.50

Remember last weeks Fridays Face? Well this is the eye shadow palette I used to create my look. It’s from a company called New Cid cosmetics which is a brand I’ve never tried before, so I was pretty excited to see what it was all about. This quad is called Choca Mocha (there are 6 quads in the collection). I know that’s a little pricey for a quad, but I have to say the quality is incredible and if you’re looking for an every day look palette I would say the price is justified. The colour pigment is amazing, I didn’t have to use a lot of product to get the look I wanted and they were very easy to blend unlike some eye shadows I’ve tried which can be very chalky. The colours are very true to the picture (unlike the one on the website I must say) and the wear is long lasting which of course is the main thing. I really do love this palette. The colours are very me and I think a lot of looks can be achieved with the different colours, whether it's from a dramatic smokey eye or just a light blended colour. I will certainly be adding this to my traveling make up bag!

  1. Ahh I am so tempted to splurge on lots of make up goodies. I think this little quad is lovely and the price is pretty reflective for most high end products so...I might be crazy to say I don't think the price is that bad at all!

  7. This is definitely looks like the kind of thing I'd use. I love all those natural shades...I don't like to go too adventurous with colours in case it goes wrong! Like the packaging too x
