WHAT I WORE

Lookbook | Chictopia
Jacket/ Dress/ Tights: Primark | Shoes: eBay

I wore this little number to the Look Show on Saturday, the jacket and the dress are both my recent purchases and if you saw my video you would have already seen them! The boots are the same as the one’s I mentioned in one of my eBay finds post a couple of weeks ago. As much as I love them, the thought of wearing them all day travelling to and from London amongst other things just really didn’t appeal to me, so I wore my trusty patent loafers instead.

The Look Show had a lot of good and bad points, it was lovely to be around some of my favourite people but the whole experience wasn’t the best. Westfield was just so busy you couldn’t move and it made me feel very claustrophobic and sick. Once we finally picked up our tickets I was told I couldn’t go in to the press lounge (where everyone else was!) because of my ticket and we originally had to watch the show from here, so as you can imagine it wasn’t the best. I was seriously annoyed at the whole thing (I considering leaving) and to top it off the girls at the front weren’t very helpful and one was very rude! Cutting a very long story short, we managed to get in eventually and sat on the back row. I felt as though I couldn’t enjoy it because of all the stress but I was very excited to see the high street collections and I’m feeling very inspired now looking back at it all! Big love to Lara for being simply amazing and sorting it all out!

So this week is pretty exciting, tomorrow is my last day at work until Novemeber (even though i will be doing work whilst I'm over there) and i graduate on Thursday (FINALLY!) i think I'm going to wear this outfit actually! But knowing me it'll change last minute and I'll end up wearing something totally random! I'm so excited to see my parents and all my uni friends again, it seems so strange to not be starting a new year in education.

How is it 7pm already?! I'm going to stick my pjs on, have some dinner and watch the telly box! Sleepy evenings really are the best!

2 This outfit is top notch. I really love it. I always get a bit nervous about pairing mustard with blacks (the whole bumble bee idea) but this looks very lovely and smart.

  18. I felt exactly like you with Westfield, I couldn't believe how many people there were! I was shocked there were so many people with babies in pushchairs too. I kept getting kind of 'hot flushes' where I had to go sit down somewhere air cond. for 5 mins to cool down, and if I felt like that I can imagine babies in prams weren't comfortable either!
