WHAT I WORE

Lookbook / Chictopia

I've never really 'followed' trends, i'm that kind of a person that will wear things years after they first came out. But i've got to admit this year i've been well and truly sucked in. It first started with block colours which i showed my love for here and now i'm head over heels in love with the whole 70s vibe. I actually have a post coming up which is totally 70s inspired and it's been probably one of my favourite posts to put together!

This shirt was an amazing find in a local charity shop (even if it was a bit pricey at £10). It's one of my favourite items in my wardrobe and i just think it goes with so much. These amazing trousers are from Primark, i had a bit of a splurge at the weekend and ended up spending some pennies. But look at them, i mean how could i not get them?! I'm also wearing my Topshop gems which i got in the winter sale for only £15 (anyone remember my obsession with them?!) This has got to be one of my favourite ever outfits, i hope you love it as much as i do!

I'm still not connected to the internet, our router was supposed to arrive today with the hope of being connected tomorrow. However, myself and Matt have the worst luck with with post (if you follow my twitter you'll know how much trouble i have!) so we're still not sure when it'll be! Please cross everything it'll be before the week is out!

As much as i love having time to 'chill' i'm seriously starting to want/need a job! It's so difficult i really don't know how anyone does it/gets them so easily! I thought actually having a fashion degree would help, but er, clearly not right now! My perfect job would be working for a magazine or some freelance stuff but i seriously don't know where to start and it's stressing me out so much!

I'm kinda back on the diet this week, when i was going through uni deadlines it was just to difficult and boredom right now has made comfort eating my new best friend. But i'd like to drop a dress size for graduation (22/10) and also for Canada too! The best thing about living where we do now is being next to Hyde Park again. We've been going for evening power walks and it's actually be so nice, i really am going to miss these light evenings.

Hopefully next time i blog i'll be sat on my own sofa and would of well and truly caught up on all your blog posts and videos over the last two weeks! (oh my god, is that it?! feels like months!)

  17. I have a vintage shirt similar but mine is slightly shiney, I'm a bit weary of wide leg trousers as I'm scared they'll make me look like a house! You pull it off amazingly though!

What are you doing diet wise? I need some inspiration!

  18. I haven't really been into the whole 70s fashion, it's not my sort of thing, I like in skin tight jeans and tights... palazzo pants would just be wrong on me! But I think this look is good enough to change me! You look gorgeous, I love how the colours work together, the shirt is especially gorgeous! :D
