I was meant to do an outfit post yesterday, but the lighting was shocking so i finally blogged my giveaway and decided to do an outfit post today instead. Today I'm rocking out my trackies, boys hoodie and very cosy snug (what i call them!)
Last week i got 'asked' why i don't style my clothes in a more 'interesting' way and change the location etc. For me this blog is very personal, i share with you a lot about my life and there's nothing that's fake about it. My outfits are real, they are things i wear everyday and i take photos in my living room because it's easy. I am not going to wear the latest designer/high street items, prance around in heels and find a beautiful spot to take photos just to make it 'interesting' for you. This is me, at my most casual look. It's a Sunday, and i don't care. So before i get more hate, really think about why you're following me because I'm certainly not changing a thing, it's my blog, not yours.
Anyway..
I went to see the Harry Potter movie on Friday and ohhhhh my it was brilliant. I really enjoyed it and deffo didn't want it to end! It wasn't as good as the book, but then they never are but I'm really looking forward to July already. I'll be so sad when it's all over, I'm such a Harry geek (and proud). Myself and Matt went for a meal out too, which was lovely as always.
It's been a pretty average weekend, weekly shop yesterday and being totally lazy. This afternoon i have got to tidy my room. Not even kidding when i say half my wardrobe is on the floor. I've also got to tackle a mountain of uni work i now have. I'm pretty sure I've got a deadline on Wednesday for a project I've not even started, but that lesson is a joke and I've spent the past two years blagging my way through it, so why change a habit of a lifetime?
I'm only in one day this week which is brilliant, I'm really hoping to make some progress with it all.
I've had 20+ orders for rings/bracelets in the past few days so as you can imagine I've had to replace a lot of stuff. So bare with me, i will be posting as soon as possible. I'm still taking orders by the way, so if you're interested please drop me an email.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I totally agree that you shouldn't have to change anything about your blog, or yourself as a matter of fact, just to please people. Carry on with what you're doing, because you're doing a pretty good job at it x
ReplyDeletehaha don't worry I live in my joggers if I'm not going anywhere! Why on earth would anyone dress up just to sit in their living room!? Don't change! love u xxxx
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a good comfy sweater and a jogging :-)
ReplyDeleteOh god people always have something to complain about. I love your blog the way is it, personnal and simple. You go girl
xo
love the snood :Dx
ReplyDeleteI was looking at that snood the other day but couldn't make my mind up! It looks lovely though!
ReplyDeleteHow dare you not change your blog for h8rz. Haters you can kill yourself!
XO
God knows why people feel fit to tear apart the blogs that they follow. I love a good comfy jumper.
ReplyDeleteI loved Harry Potter aswell. I'm going to see it again today because I can't wait for the second one, so seeing part 1 twice will have to do for now. haha. Geek and proud :P
I really wanted to type, you go girl! in the comments but im absolutely sure I cannot pull that off! I love that your blog is so down to earth and the plain backround allows you to focus on the outfit! Also the lighting is great where you are, so why fix it, if it aint broke?
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm also wearing jogging bottom and a hoody, its a sunday so that is basically the rules right? I'm not Harry Potter mad but looking forward to seeing it, I always wait till DVD because I hate the hysterical children and obnoxious t***s that always go to see it in my town lol!
Love the blog and yourself!!
Onna x
You're so right! It's a sunday, and I'm currently rocking the hoody and pj bottom combo - it's gotta be done!
ReplyDeleteI still need to see Harry Potter - looks so good! :) xo
You're absolutely right! The blog is yours and nobody should tell you what to do with it!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the snug! it looks so warm!!!

I don't care how I look on Sunday either haha mostly I'm in my PJ's.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed HarryPotter movie! I'm going to see it aswell!
Gosh some people are so rude! I follow your blog because you are real, and the simplicity of your photos make you more relatable! Im going to see HP next Saturday and i am super excited! Im a HP geek and proud!
ReplyDeleteIgnore all the 'hate' we all love you because you are you! x
I have that snood in beige, it's so comfy. I prefer seeing people in their real everyday outfits- who has the time or energy to dress up every day?! I can't really think of a more suitable sunday outfit!x
ReplyDeleteeee :) can not wait to see HP- am trying to watch all the old ones, to get me up to date. Even though i've watched them before, I'd like a little re-cap.
ReplyDeleteCute snuggly outfit- Sundays are the day for laziness & your outfit sums that up amazing :)
I wouldn't worry what any one says, I'm glad you are very 'real' I prefer reading blogs like yours as I can relate to them morexxx
I get the impression with some bloggers that they wear things just to take photos, and then get changed into their every day clothes! I'm like you, everything you see on my blog is actually what I've worn. If people don't like what they're reading then they have a choice don't they!
ReplyDeleteI'm to see HP later. SO EXCITED! x
Don't change how you are. You're not fake, and real life is that people wear their comfy clothes on a Sunday - as I am doing right now. People can relate to you, and it's just completely unrealistic when people post a picture of themselves all dressed up in te midde of the day. It's just not natural.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, glad you enjoyed Harry Potter - agree it wasn't as good as the book, but I think it was one of the best films! Definitely did the book justice.
A lovely casual outfit, I love that snug/snood, I'm addicted to them at the moment! x
ReplyDeleteYou look sooooo comfortable. I think it was pretty obnoxious of someone to leave you such a 'question.' It's impossible to please everyone and have everyone like you. I mean, if they don't like your style, they don't have to read your blog! I think it's awesome that you can get things from Primark and style them the way you do.
ReplyDeleteSending 'love' your way for rocking the cosy Sunday look. I'm rocking it with ya!!
ReplyDeleteI say 'blah' to all those asking for more 'interesting' photos. Blogs are personally and I think even posing in front of a wall and taking photographs takes time and effort.
Stay true :-) xxx
Personally I think you always look great and your outfits are always interesting and with a sparkle. You have 700+ followers who clearly like what you do so that says something.
ReplyDeleteCute snood!
Dude like you say it's Sunday, eff you h8erzzz. I love your blog, and exactly why should you change anything about your blog. Hear hear. Ahh man Harry P was the shiiiiiznit. Hope you're ok. Love ya longtimes xx
ReplyDeleteYeah don't change for anyone! ;) That's the fun thing about blogs, knowing about others and how they live their lifes.
ReplyDeleteLoved your sunday outfit :) it's THE day for being extra comfortable.
Love the snood/snug/scarf sweet! Keep doing your thang, it's why we all love ya x
ReplyDeleteLove how you've blogged your cosy outfit. I prefer my outfit post blogs to be more realistic so this is a lovely post. Ignore the stupid questions/statements. They're small minded people. Harry Potter was certainly very good! It's gunna be difficult to wave goodbye to it for good next year :/ I'd finally stopped grieving about the end of the books so it's not fun to start that process for the films! I hope you enjoy your Sunday and have a productive week (:
ReplyDeleteI really respect you for saying that you are not going to change!! Its soo true, and you really shouldnt change just to entaritain people. This blog is about being yourself and i love it for that !!
ReplyDeletehttp://livinginwonderlandx.blogspot.com/
I wouldn't want you to change a thing! I totally get and appreciate what you're saying about your outfits being "real", and without meaning in any way for this to be misconstrued as one of those backhanded bitcher blogger comments, I love the fact that you're confident enough to post a piccie of you in your cudsies!
ReplyDeleteT x
Cute outfit, very warm and comfy! x

Victoria.. I can't believe someone said that to you!? Your outfits ARE interesting.. I love that it's on a plain background too because it gives all the focus to you without being phased out by a busy background. Your photos are brilliant and we all love them! I'd love a plain background for my outfit posts.. Going to get myself a tripod :)
ReplyDeleteanyways, keep up the amazing job! You're stunning :)
xox
I usually have to get dragged to watch HP, but I kind of want to see the last movie. I hear it's split into two parts? Why? Is it super major long? Like Lord of the Rings epic long?
ReplyDeleteI like that you're realistic about your fashion. I think it's better sometimes than posed and overly dressed just for the one picture thing. Have a great week.
Don't change the way you do it! i love your blog, the way you style your clothes. xo
ReplyDeleteyou pretty woman, you.
ReplyDeletei bet half the keyboard warriors are sitting there, typing abuse to you, wearing a lot worse!
love love <3

You shouldn't change your style!! You wear like that cause you're realistic and style your outfits depending on where you're going :)
ReplyDeletex x

ReplyDeleteYou can't beat a day in a really comfy hoody and Sundays are perfect for it!
xxx
You look fab as always, and as its a sunday I'm sat typing this in leggings and a hoodie :) and don't you dare change anything about your blog as its fab the way it is xxx
ReplyDeleteWho the hells telling you to style your outfits differently? To hell with them! You do look uber cosY I have to say.
ReplyDeleteOMG at Harry Potter btw....cried within the first 10 minutes...the bit with Hermione and uh yea....tears. I was so angry where it ended. I don't want to wait till July =(
All I could think throughout was...shit just got dark...and, I really want Umbridge's scarf. xo
You look so cosy and snug! I LOVED Harry Potter, but couldn't believe when it ended! I CANNOT WAIT until July for the next instalment. It's too far away! xx
ReplyDeletePS - I LOVE RON! He's my favourite ever. :) xx
I love your snood! And jealous you have seen HP already, I can't wait until I can go :) Wow your jewels are doing really well lucky you

ReplyDeleteEveryone blogs for differnt reasons and people follow you accordingly, if they want the latest fashion each week buy a magazine!
xXx
Good for you, why should you have to change it because of the few people who bother to complain! xx
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your outfits and it doesn't bother me that your photos are on plain backgrounds :)
ReplyDeleteBut you have so many followers that love your blog and the occasional bad comment is inevitable so keep posting for the fans! xx
loving the scarf x
ReplyDeleteI love your snuggy snood it looks so cosy. Also I love your blog as it is :) x
ReplyDeleteDon't change a thing! Most of my fav bloggers take their pictures in the same location, it draws more attention to the outfit!

I read your blog because I like the way you are! so never change a thing. :)
ReplyDeleteI've not seen harry potter yet (workbooo) and as you can imagine i'm really grumpy about it. & i really can't wait! x
I totally agree that you shouldn't have to change anything about your blog etc, it's your blog - dress what do you want to dress, if they don't like it, don't follow! As simple as that. And what's wrong if you're wearing Primark outfit? Most of my clothes are from there, and I don't feel embarrassed whatsoever because I just can't justify to spend a lot on clothes when I know for the fact I have another bills to pay. I love reading your blog, so keep doing whatever you feel comfortable with =) xx
ReplyDeleteIndah @ Fashion Must Go On
omg, don't even bother with them... not that it sounds like you are!! :p
ReplyDeleteif they don't 'get' your blog, then they can go get bent. ha! i think your blog is really good! :) xx
your snood is gorgeous! i really want one for the winter. comfy days are the best thing ever, and i totally agree with you about harry potter, it was so good!xx
ReplyDeleteI always think you look really nice in photos and I am SO jealous of your lovely glossy hair! However, I will say this, I am one of those annoying people who 'dresses up' everyday because I feel a million times better if I do. It's a personal thing but I think I look better if I do and I know I feel better, I guess it's whatever you are comfortable in?
ReplyDeleteMaria xxx
Im a new follower of your blog and I think your blog is amazing and you shouldn't change for no one! Your right about Harry potter, i loved it!
